3. Why do I love my best friend- 

I uh...This is such a hard question because I don't know if I have a best friend. So we'll go with uh..idk. I have a friend who comes over pretty regularly and plays video games for me. I like him a lot because I love plots of most horror games and stuff and I love being scared but there is no way I'd be able to play them by myself so he plays them for me and he also goes with it and actually gets scared too. He's also a great chef. But more importantly he totally has stuck around and likes me despite the fact that we make plans to hang out and something comes up or I get sick or whatever and have to cancel and he still makes an effort to hang out with me despite it all. And I think that's super important. 

12. Idea of a perfect date

Uhhh. I donno I'm not really picky about stuff, but just hanging out and holding hands and probably dinner and maybe a movie. Like I don't really do the date thing, but handholding is a must.

He can tell who is behind him by the sound of her shoes and the smell of her shampoo, so he isn’t surprised by her presence. He is surprised when she comes behind him wrapping her arms around his stomach, face pressed into his back.

He smiles a little bit though placing his arms over hers and squeezing lightly, the best he can manage to return her hug from his current position.

"You alright?"

Karrin choked on a sob as she pressed her face to his back hard, shuddering. She swallowed hard as she clutched him, drawing shaking breaths. “Yeah,” She mumbled, blatantly lying. “I’m totally fi—fine.”

Okay that was...Not fine. That was very much not fine. Karrin Murphy was lying about being fine even as he could feel the tears wetting the back of his shirt.  Her grip was strong, but despite that he turned around, pulling her against his front in a proper hug. No judgement no words, just a pillar of strength and comfort.  If she wanted to talk about it she would, but until then he wasn't going to push.

sorcerouscheerleader: I had nothing to do with the Jeremiah Quick thing, but I was curious and they’ve offered a couple of sample chapters. It’s….terrible. I’ve seen some bad smut but Empty Night this is terrible.  I mean who the actual fuck names their protagonist “Pretty”.

Oh you poor brave soul. They named her ‘Pretty’? ‘Pretty’ really?

Okay like I would believe that like someone would name their KID ‘Pretty’ cause I have friends named ‘Rose of Sharon’ ‘Tyrannie’ and ‘Ivory Cameo’ but to name your protagonist is Pretty is just… dude it’s like naming them Bella but a lot more blatant. Poor choices.

I was...curious. I mean can you blame me?  Yep. Pretty who ended up going by "Letty" because her middle name or something in like college but to her darling Jeremiah she was "Sunshine" and they hated each other but not really.

It...was terrible and I'm not sure why people are giving this person money.

"That’s pretty ironic since it sort of was through the literal gates of hell." He muttered but didn’t look at him. 

He flat out flinched his shoulders shooting up to his ears at Thomas’s words. How could he think that? That he did any of this on purpose, that he wanted people to get hurt? 

The fact that he said it, hurt worse.

He swallowed when Thomas put his hand on his shoulder. “…I’m sorry. I know I’m an idiot….I never meant, never mean for anyone to get hurt.”

He rolls his eyes, obviously that was the point of his statement. He doesn't miss his brother flinching at his words, and he means them because his brother is an idiot so far in over his head and he knew it from the moment he met him. 

That's what kills him the most. Shouldn't he have learned something along the way? Shouldn't he have learned after Michael got hurt? 

These people around him are so fragile, and Harry still brings them with like they're invincible and it's only a matter of time before he loses someone else or the cost of saving them is too high.  He can almost hear the tears in his brother's voice, and maybe he went too far, but how can Harry ask him to lose his brother? 

"Harry." His voice is soft as he squeezes his brother's shoulder, not moving. If that's what harry needs, then he will be a pillar, a beacon of strength.  "I know." And that's the problem because as well meaning as he is, life isn't fair. 

"You're a big stupid idiot." His tone is teasing, with as much love as he can possibly muster. He knows Harry has never really been one one for hugs, but he does it anyway.  "But if i don't worry who is gonna?"

I couldn’t leave the island, Thomas. Mab and Demonreach both told me that I had a parasite in my head that was growing and it was going to kill me if I left the island because they were both slowing it down. But Mab didn’t tell me what it really was, who it really was.

I’m not claiming that my actions don’t have consequences! I have never claimed that!

And that is a dumb excuse Thomas and you know it. It was god-damned fucking Nicodemus! Who ever I took along with me, there was a good likelihood that they were going to get hurt. I shouldn’t have taken anyone, but I needed someone I could trust at my back someone on my side so that I wasn’t surrounded by just the people Nick chose. The fucking bastard even told me that he could not promise their safety.

I don’t know, okay! I should have done a lot of things, and yes one of them should have been to go to you! Fine, I’m an idiot, Okay!
