God…i’m looking in recommended blogs to follow more ppl and…kids…there’s 12 year olds on here with discourse blogs and actual 24 year olds are discussing cartoon politics with them.. yeah help kids realize mistakes and yada yada yada but…I’ve seen minors here say they’re scared to mention a character they like, lest they get hate for the character not being 100% perfect and pure…

There are LGBT 13-year olds scared to draw their own lgbt headcanons cause of cancel culture…I’m so sorry adults in fandom told y'all you can’t just enjoy things or be in fandom for fun…this is a reminder that not everything has to super political and sometimes. It’s okay to not want to get involved with discourse…i can’t even imagine being 12-15 and having a discourse blog and having 30 year olds call you homophobic and immorally evil for drawing a character they personally have issues with as gay?

Idc if someone likes a villain or a character that did one bad thing. It sucks seeing kids here so scared of offending a grown ass adult over a steven universe headcanon that they think they have to have debates over this stuff. This isn’t me telling anyone they get a free pass to be racist or lgbt-phobic or anything, but kids. Don’t get caught up in justice debates online because you think you have to sound ‘woke’ in order to properly enjoy something. Delete your discourse blog or reform into an account dedicated to something you enjoy. I find that staying out of discourse online and avoiding negativity makes this website much more enjoyable. It’s okay to not be serious 24/7.
