Sally the Bali Dog

Many Bali dogs are abandoned, abused and killed. Sally is one of the lucky ones, rescued by @sun_and_sage(15% of their profit from their merchandise is for rescuing Bali dogs) . My 4th sketch after 14 days away. It was difficult for me to sketch during this time. Now, home and ready to tackle sketchendeavour again, excited.

When the hibiscus flowers bloomed. I have drawn this before with coloured pencils but I thought will give it a try with water colours. Three purple roses. I just had to try the arches cold pressed watercolour paper that we just bought . Now I understand why watercolour artists love arches brand paper so much. It can absorb water thus you can do layers . I love how the paint 'flows' on it. A lot of positives so far.
