God I love Aou's ability to emote with his eyes. You can see the shift here so clearly from soft concern and empathy to righteous fury and protectiveness. You know exactly what Rome's character is thinking and I won't be surprise if this is the point where Rome decides he's got to fucking do something about the absolute mess that is going on, while before when he spoke to Raffy and gave advice "just as a friend" you can tell he mostly felt it wasn't his place to step in.

Aou communicates all that with just his eyes and it's just delicious to behold.

Raffy at his lowest moment; still expecting to be ridiculed, only to be met with more empathy and love than he’s ever been given before.

It’s a huge moment for him.

Raffy has spent so long thinking that he doesn’t matter, that he isn’t enough. The idea that someone could see all of that laid bare in front of them, and still choose to hold him through it is beyond anything he thought possible.
