this book gave me a lot of feelings and made me cry but something that stuck with me is how we, the readers, are never allowed to know what robin’s birth name is. “he said his name” “his mother called out his name” we’re not given the privilege of knowing who he was before he was moulded into robin swift. he is only robin swift to us.
