Shipping aro/ace people (as an aro/ace person)

I ship people. I am aro/ace. I get really pissed off when people ship canonically aro/ace characters romantically/sexually. “oH aRo/AcE iS a SpEcTrUm” yeah, and [character] is at the “can only love platonically” end. Literally not that hard to understand. [character1]’s relationship to [character2] is platonic. It is not romantic or sexual. It doesn’t mean there’s not love and affection and caring about the other character, it just means it’s more like how you would care about a sibling or something than you would a romantic partner. As an aro/ace person myself, it hits a nerve when I see shit like that happening.

Just putting that out there.
