I'm sick and tired of some people not getting "X character's story isnt over" doesnt mean they will get more books or they are next etc.

It just means Sarah doesnt see their story "ending" with their book out. They go on to live their lives. They will grow and make mistakes and learn from those mistakes. They will face hardship...etc. this is what she means.

She said this for Feyre as well. Was it her book next in acotar? NOPE. but she did get a pregnancy arc. She grew from it. Rhys grew from it. They learned and faced hardship.

So this is what she means when she says "their story isnt over" not that "oh that book was just not the ending I will write more" it just means even though we read 700-800 pages book and their story is finished from our end...doesnt mean they dont live their lives in the fictional universe in Sarah's mind.

Can Sarah write more for them? Yes but until she says she is writing...the books you got...are it. Nothing more as "their" book. Only what we got.

Every time I see people clutch pearls about Azriel lusting for Elain and her getting aroused by him, I just repeat this mantra:

I do think it also gets forgotten, in conversations about the sisters and their relationships, that they were all kinda at one another's throats and on one another's sides at various points in the early years. They kick and claw for space in the bed at night. Nesta and Elain snipe at each other, they're not some united anti-Feyre front. Elain and Feyre give each other gifts that make it clear they value one another. The situation is complicated and made worse by the stress of living in poverty. The sisters are certainly not blameless in the ways they treated Feyre, as Elain herself acknowledges on-page. But I think the fandom has, over time, boiled the relationships down to something more simple and two-sided than it ever actually was.

In my opinion, you don't actually like a character if that liking ultimately hinges on their endgame ship. We see this with a LOT of EL shippers, particularly.

Elriels tend to like both Azriel and Elain individually outside of the ship, but also tend to like Elain more. We, generally speaking, come to the ship through our liking of the character, not the other way around (we see what her preference seems to be, where the storytelling is going, etc). We ship Elriel because we like Elain.

Why do EL fans always ask "will you still support Elain if she ends up with Lucien?" dude, Elain fans don't base their expectations on made-up scenarios or out-of-context interpretations, that's exactly why we know Elain, at her core as a character, isn't going to reject the bond only to go back to the rejected male and choose him anyway.

You should probably pay closer attention to what you're reading, I don't know... maybe then you'd see what's been obvious all along :)

It's so ridiculous when one of the reasons GAs give for wanting them to be together is that they want Gwyn to be happy. Did Gwyn want romance? Was Gwyn interested in Azriel and not getting reciprocation? Why do they act like Gwyn will be miserable if she doesn't end up with Azriel?
