A brow went up. “Can’t you? I mean animals do it, So I’d assume that we could too.” Olivia gave the man a better look, noticing the darkened circles around his eyes. The way his head bobbed back and forth just enough for her to notice. Clearly something was off about him, and it didn’t take long for her to worry. She raised hand, pressing it lightly to his forehead, before pulling away and asking “Are you okay.” The answer wasn’t need. “What happened- what did you do?”

"Humans are animals too." he pointed out. He flew back a little as he felt her hand against his skin. He was maybe very tired, but his awkwardness was still intact. And at her question he was almost regretting he had even open his mouth in the first place. Then a deep sigh, "I have been working too much I guess. It's not an all nice job I have, and sometimes it keeps me from sleeping." he admitted although he did not knew this woman.

Seeing the stranger walk closer, Lorraine sniffed the air in front of her. She needed to gauge whether she’d be sprinting into attack mode or if they’d just pass by and leave her in peace.

Alexander had noticed the wolf, but was not going to walk any closer to it. He only smiled and kept a calm posture to show he meant no harm. He was quite tall and muscular, so no wonder if the wolf felt a little threaten by his presence.

"Kind of a Mom-and-Pop, burgers and fries-type diner," Grace specified. "I go there sometimes if my coworkers make me. They do breakfast all day, too. It’s pretty nice, really clean. Just a few blocks down from here."

"A mom-and-pop?" he looked confused at her. "Well, as longs as it's good an nutritious food there I guess it works for me. Would you mind following me down there? I can even treat lunch if it is as a thanks?"

"Oh…" Was all she could manage to respond. She had never met someone who was so against this. Popping another piece of candy cane she attempted to thwart her awkwardness. "Same here. I usually work every Christmas since everyone else is trying to get off. What do you do?"

"I work... independently, so can't really get off work like that." and he could see she was feeling uncomfortable in his presence. "But it's kind of you to work so others can get home to their family and children." he said now in a kind tone. "What's your name by the way?"

"I don’t know if that’s actually possible. Everyone gets some time off from work.” Frankie was sympathetic to this guy’s plight, even if he was trying to down play it. She worked so much, she hadn’t seen her niece in two weeks. That was a problem. “Well, if you’ve been stressed so long and so much that it actually affects your health, I don’t think you could avoid medication. But before that, they’d probably just say a lifestyle change is in order. Probably. I’m not a doctor.” She chuckled and said, “Babe, trust me. You need a vacation. I work practically around the clock all week. I know that look.”

"The line between work and free time is kinda blurred out for me." he admitted. But he guessed she was right; he needed some time off. Though that was easier said than done with his kind of work. Not that he was the only one doing it, but the jobs were piling up from time to time. "When was the last time you had a vacation then?"

"I’m fine." She insisted. Chloe couldn’t help but wonder why would a complete strange care what happened, if the local sheriff hadn’t believed her, she didn’t see anyone else doing so.

"I’m not too far away." It was a lie, she lived in a small apartment on the other side of town, but she could get home before her father did and hopefully before her brother woke up, she couldn’t deal with any questions.

A deep sigh escaped Alex's lips and he scratched the back of his neck as he still looked at her. The girl was obviously not telling the truth, but she had her reasons for not saying what was wrong. And he was a complete stranger to her after all, so no wonder that she didn't really wanted to talk to him.

"I mean you no harm, miss." he said with a calm voice. "But I do believe that you need to see and talk to someone about what ever had happen. If it is..." he started, but hold back a moment. "I can drive you home? You don't have to say yes, but I'm sure you just want to get home as quickly as possible?"

8 Are they a quick thinker or do they need time to sort through their thoughts?

Alexander is a quick thinker as he need to be that to do his job. He is a rational thinker, but he doesn't use too much time to think.

22 Does your character trust people right off the bat or does it take them some time to warm up to someone?

He never really trust people. It can take a very long time to warm him up for like e.g. let you sleep on his couch.
