I am never looking to critique fic writers, but I GOTTA say this: people with dark skin’s knuckles do not turn white when they are tightly gripping something.

I can usually suspend a lot of reality with things like that, but the knuckle one really bugs me because it shows how little society is actually *seeing* dark skinned people as entire beings. I know no one is trying to be malicious, but it’s a pretty glaring blind spot.

Mohabbat Date Ideas As Tribute

I am not a mohabbot writer but I am a mohabbot reader who thanks you all for your service. In return, I would like to offer you places in Pittsburgh where it would be cute AF for those two to go on an outing (read: DATE) as a person who lived there for a while. Please forgive formatting errors on this post. This is literally my first one EVER 🙏🏾

Phipps Conservatory: Goegeous botanical gardens. Open all year round. A lot of areas to walk through and beautiful grounds where two people who are in love might find themselves on a cute ass picnic. Far from the hospital (PTMC is Allegheny General)

Duquesne Incline: Steep cable car railway that is super old and rickety as hell. Very jerky. A person might need to grab the arm of another for balance…romantically. Gorgeous panoramic view of the city at the top. Two people might ask a stranger to take their pic up there. Two people might have a butterfly-inducing kiss up there…🤷🏾‍♀️. Also far from the hospital.

Cathedral of Learning: PGH natives are rolling their eyes at me, BUT it’s so beautiful inside, everyone should at least go see it once, and I’m willing to bet a certain person who may have moved to the city for a life consuming job four years ago has never had the time.

Falling Water: It’s an hour and a half schlep out of the city, but it’s not really everyday you get to see Frank Lloyd Wright’s most famous project.

Randyland: Honestly, just google it 😂

Kennywood: Imagine one of those amusement parks from 1950s period pieces about post-war America. This is basically as close as you’ll get to that (those of us from the other side of the state have Knoebels). Get some cotton candy! Win a teddy bear for your favorite day shift resident at the ring toss booth! Ask your greying boss/not boss if the vintage decor reminds him of his childhood! The possibilities are endless!

Alright. That’s all I got for now. If anyone needs more Pittsburgh insider info, I’ll do what I can, but I moved in 2019, so this info is dated lol.
