Bruh. I restarted this drawing 4 times mate. Like I did the flat colour version and thought “huh.. this is nice! maybe I’ll leave it at that.” But my body seems to be physically unable to not resist going back and shading things. Idk homie it felt so empty. So I shaded, and then deleted it all, and restarted 4 times before it finally got to what you see above 💪

ALSO, YOO I am so fucking hyped For the BOTW Sequal man you have no idea, art of short haired Zelda coming soon lads. Also, I have some concept pieces similar to my King Ganondorf one on the way too 👌

At first I was just doing this to kill some time and to practice I guess but ya know what? This guy grew on me and I actually really dig his design so I decided I’d add him to my ever growing collection of characters. He’s inspired by, of course the spOokY ghost hands, combined with elements of corpse Ganon, the monks from the shrines and that shot where Link’s hand gets messed up by the same green glowy stuff.

There’s no fancy theory or deep ideas behind him really, It’s just for fun. I kinda based it around not just the hand, but also that one shot of Link’s hand turning the same spooky green colour from the trailer, I also based him on the Monks in the shrines and Corpse Ganon as well. So yeah, hope ye like this guy 👌

My super basic inspirational idea was that maybe he’s like a spiritual manifestation of Link’s past incarnations in one form that’s like resting within the same tomb as Ganon’s corpse so it can guard it and keep it under control.
