So I dont normally post stories but like,

Today at lunch I was sitting with my brother and his friend and his friend goes “you know, it’s always been a gay fantasy of mine to work at a flower shop and marry a man and just be really happy.” And then the discussion shifted to how my brother actually really doesn’t want a wife but he just really wants a daughter one day and that same friend goes “I’ll adopt a baby with you. I think I’d make a really good husband and we could raise her in our flower shop.” Then my brother goes, “of course I’ll marry you man.”

And honestly, the way they said it sounded so genuine it was really heartwarming.

I’ve been watching Good Omens for ’ll of about ten minutes and I have to say, I do like the poetry between hell’s most angelic demon and heaven’s most demonic angel coexisting

Through watching the rest of the show I went from “worst demon and worst angel- a demon that is too kind and an angel that is too hedonistic”, to “best demon and best angel- a demon so rebellious he can’t even cooperate with the rebellion and an angel so angelic he was ordered to love humanity and now refuses to stop”, and having finished, now, I’ve found myself resting on “two beings who are in fact very very human and love each other very much”

 SOKKA ROCKED YA what a good guy. what a wonderful guy. i love sokka’s quiet character arc throughout the series how he goes from being this frustrated teen struggling to meet this extremely limited definition of manhood to being happy and comfortable with the man he is: someone who respects women. who fights but likes to shop too and whose biggest role is holding people together and supporting them who plans and builds and likes to draw and still has self doubts and accepts too much guilt and too many responsibilities and claims t be a realist and a cynic but at the end of the day he puts a rainbow in where one wasn’t before
