Breaking The Fourth Wall: Forever in Fiction Lag

I am from Berkeley. I was born in New Orleans, lived in Tucson for 11 years and wound up in the best city in California. My idols are those who write books that make me feel something. I studied to be a fiction writer. Wearing knit hats makes me feel mysterious. I could live at Moe's Books on Telegraph Ave with a large coffee in hand. I now live in Los Angeles as a journalist. I write about music, culture and visual art. The first book I ever loved was the biography of Eleanor Roosevelt. The first album I ever bought was the soundtrack of "Space Jam." I believed I was a teammate of The Mighty Ducks for far too long. If the smell of rain was a perfume, I'd buy it.
