some black people love telling people that their 4c hair needs to be brushed, when what they really mean is that your curl pattern isn’t loose enough. the amount of time i’ve seen people tell a black girl who has her hair done, that she needs to fix it… i’ve seen a PUFFED out fro get called “roll out of bed hair” like nigga in what world is your fro going to be reaching up to the sky when you get out of bed???? so many black people have yet learn to accept 4c hair, they get behind the natural hair movement, but don’t really support natural girls. my hair is kinky, my hair isn’t naturally shiny, and my hair is going to shrink as the day goes by, my fro will not stay perfect the entire day. none of this means, i’m lazy, or that my hair is unkept
