A group of four teenagers came into the restaurant I work at today. I try not to judge people by their appearance, but I’m human and it’s hard - four teenagers aren’t promising.They were really friendly and used my name, instead of calling “Hey!” or “excuse me!”. They were a little needy, but I wasn’t busy so it was okay. When it was time for me to bill them, they told me it would be on three different bills. No problem, I had their food separated already since teenagers usually pay separately. Two of them had gift cards and one of them was paying for $18 with a $100 bill. I return with his change and as I’m cleaning plates away, one asks, “Can we request you next time?” I said sure why not! I left with plates and they left the restaurant. Upon returning to the table, none of them had left any tip for me. I really hope they forget to request me next time.
