Each year, we release a J!-ENT annual issue that deals with Asian pop culture and also our event coverage throughout the year.  It’s our most popular feature that we do each year and for 2014, our latest issue is now available.

J!-ENT's 20th Anniversary Annual (2013) - 575-pages

In June 1993, J!-ENT was born.  Originally a featured page on the Neo-Tokyo 2099 BBS, it quickly became the official website for entertainment and pop culture.

But J!-ENT was much different back then as it is now.  Back then, it was a website that covered Asian Entertainment and Pop Culture.  Before focusing on entertainment worldwide.

As we celebrate our 20-year anniversary, for our once-a-year special annual issue, we return to our roots of the type of coverage we did back then for this annual issue.  Featuring a total of 575-pages, our largest yet, featured in this interview are:

On the music  side, the 20th Anniversary Annual features interviews with Porno Graffitti, Home Made Kazoku, Aoi Eir, Luna Haruna, Kylee, Andy Quach, Hiroshi Uesugi.  Plus AKB48 Group coverage and a special feature on AKB48 worldwide fandom.  Plus excerpts from past J-Pop interviews which include TRF, Olivia, HYDE, Hitomi Shimatani, Maki Goto, Akko of My Little Lover and Toshinobu Kubota.  Plus a few of J!-ENT’s J-Pop reviews from the 1990’s.

PSYCH-O’S HAVE SPOKEN! USA NETWORK REVEALS RESULTS AT COMIC-CON® OF FAN-VOTED STORYLINE FOR NEW SEASON EIGHT “PSYCH” EPISODE

TLC ADDRESSES “WATERFALLS” COLLABORATION WITH JAPANESE POP STAR NAMIE AMURO

MTV VMAJ 2013 honored iconic girl group TLC with the “Legend Award” on Saturday, June 22, at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture, Japan. Fans across the country tuned in across various time zones to catch the group accepting the award, and taking the stage to perform a medley of their most-requested hits. In addition to receiving the award, the group released a special Japan 20th anniversary edition of select songs including, a re-make of their 1995 chart-topping single “Waterfalls” featuring Japanese pop star Namie Amuro.

Lost Girl cast returns to San Diego Comic-Con

Flower Mound TX- Syfy’s supernatural drama Lost Girl, a Showcase original series, will be returning to San Diego Comic-Con this year! Appearing will be series lead Kris Holden-Ried who plays Dyson, the shape-shifting homicide detective and noble Light Fae warrior, Gemini Award-winner Ksenia Solo (Life Unexpected, Black Swan) as Kenzi, Bo's human sidekick and street-smart confidante and Zoie Palmer, who plays the brilliant human doctor Lauren in competition with Dyson for Bo’s affection, along with Lost Girl series Executive Producers Emily Andras and Jay Firestone and Producer Vanessa Piazza. The panel takes place on Saturday, July 20 at 7:15pm in room 6BCF. All actors will take part in an autograph session earlier in the day from 3pm-4pm at the FUNimation/Giant Ape booth (#4135).
