A Couple of Things

Hudson has only been famous for 6 mos. The team he has now, likely won't be the team he has for the rest of his career

We view things through a fandom bubble. The media didn't care when Hudson was and quite frankly still is experiencing racism from the toxic part of this Fandom, so I doubt they'd care about this concerted effort to paint Hudson himself as racist. That is only if this breaks containment, and I don't think it will.

Also, I grew up in a predominately white environment my entire childhood. My mom watched my sister and I and who we hung out with like a hawk. Specifically, to avoid the situations Hudson seemed to have found himself in as a young person being the only POC in his friend group. Hudson's experience is different from mine of course, because he is a POC but he's also biracial, which adds another level to some of the confusion he might have add when he was younger. However, I will reiterate what I said last time something like this happened, having a "racist phase" is not normal, and is used to excuse a lot of bullshit.

There is an odd timing to these things that several people have noticed. Always around big events for Hudson. Last time was the Met Gala, this time it's the CSAs.

These pictures/leaks also correlate to one specific friend group. Which confirms for me the leaker is one of them if not multiple people within that group. People said that they reached out and asked Kalem about that IG account and he was quick to say he wasn't part of it. But nothing else. No defense or explanation of Hudson being connected to it.

Yes, it's weird that Hudson's PR team is more concerned with pushing his "relationship" then checking his digital footprint to protect him. Which kind of confirms for me that all of us who think Hudson is Queer (Gay/Bi or something else) are correct, and they seem to care more about getting a narrative out there that he is in a Straight presenting relationship, more than anything else. Which is odd, because no one is saying he has to "come out" if he his Queer but this relationship doesn't have to be pushed so hard either.

People see what they want to see. We in the Fandom which is largely Queer Women see the Queer in Hudson. But the GP doesn't need that much convincing. So, no matter how many signs Hudson sends us, and no matter what his behavior is like with Connor, the GP has been shown the relationship they want to accept, so his team is doing too much and it's going to bite them in ass. It's not a matter of if, but when.

Some people seem to think that K cannot be involved or complicit in this and to point out that she could be is being "misogynistic". I said I wouldn't be fake nice remember. If she is part of that friend group, there is no reason to believe she doesn't have the same motivations as they do. Maybe even more since she is the one that has been presented to the public as the closest to Hudson as the "gf".

There has been a picture from a TikTok account (not the leaker) that has the main goal of painting Hudson as a Queerbaiter, and saying nasty things about Connor as well. They recently posted a picture of Hudson and K both working at the Old Spaghetti Factory. Which is why that friend liking that post is bullshit, since it would stand to reason that when Hudson was "just a waiter" she was "just a waitress". But that got me thinking.

There is nothing romantic about the picture. Just two coworkers told to pose. K has on glasses in the picture and doesn't have the appearance we've grown accustomed to, slick back, tattoos, tacky purses (I'm sorry I had to). It made me think about how I said a while back Hudson looks like the type of guy everyone has a crush on when they meet him. The problem with that is just because everyone has a crush on you, obviously doesn't mean you would like them back. I get the feeling, and this is just my opinion, that if they ever dated, she was more into him then he was into her, and if they dated it was because Hudson was still figuring out his sexuality, and had a Shane moment, where he thought clicking with a girl meant that it was romantic.

Now of course I don't think they ever actually dated, however that doesn't mean people can't assume they did and I think K liked/likes people thinking that about their relationship. That is until Connor showed up. I feel like that NYE visit was the turning point, because at the Toronto premiere in November she looked happier than she looks currently. Also, apparently Hudson spent Christmas with her, something that is a tradition for them. However, inviting Connor for NYE probably reinforced that the September visit wasn't a one-off thing, and that Connor was going to be in Hudson's life outside of Heated Rivalry. That's why starting with that Europe trip in January to current you see the lemon face. She knows that Connor has the top space in Hudson's life and she doesn't like it and is holding on, which fine I guess I get that, but it's not cool if the other person isn't happy and has moved on, which is what it seems like Hudson has done. This is all my own opinion, speculation, and conjecture, so if you get offended that's on you. I'm not stating this as fact, just my thoughts.

Alright y'all I'm tired of literally all of this so I'm out. My parting thought is that June will be a month of cleaning house for Hudson. I don't think he's going in to filming Season 2 with the baggage that he currently has. It will be shed by the time he's on set with this HR family again. I still think that rainbow on Hudson's pant leg was a good omen since it's Pride Month, and I'm manifesting that he gets some time with Connor to recenter.

Solos want to push K as Hudson's soulmate and partner for life and his Vanc friends as these supportive besties. But why did it need Connor in Hudson's life and circle of friends for him to say that he can be himself with him. Why not with all these other friends? This always makes me think that he mutes himself there and is much more straight presentinf/masking around them. That's why they are so threatened by Connor and the media picking up on it. That's why them leaking stuff and fighting for K makes just sense. And I think in general he is more cautious around them, there is an entire group against him if it came to it. I don't think they would side with the newly famous POC who is step for step moving away from them.

Connor saw and embraced something in Hudson that these other “friends” either didn’t know (because he had his guard up) or didn’t accept (assuming they saw it). That’s a big part of why Hudson loves him so much… he knows that man supports and treasures him for everything he is.

I’m never taking my foot off the gas on this, Hudson’s small VC world boxes him in, makes him small, turned him into “just a waiter,” our cool and hot friend’s boyfriend, and hetero-presenting (most of the time).

He gets to explore himself through his art, with Connor’s circle, and with his new celebrity/LA/NY friends. They know a more vivid, confident, beautiful 🦄. We all see how much happier he is when that old mask is off, right?

I want him to be that happy and free all the time. I need him to cut the chains, because he deserves it. He deserves this new, exciting life he’s creating with people that lift him up and love that side of him just the same.

There has been a lot said on this matter but since you asked me and I rarely get to articulate my own thoughts, I shall use it as full excuse to break down my current view.

Disclaimer: you find the topic triggering, please walk by.

Off the Clock

First off, what I meant by the original comment is that it's obvious that the moment H stepped off stage, he lost all interest in trying to be nice to K. You can see it from the pap photos where he gets out of the car, she touches his arm likely trying to latch onto it as she often does, he walks past her, and goes straight for the restaurant leaving her behind. We have some restaurant photos and in 0 of them is he anywhere near her. Which is odd for a man who is so cordial and touchy with even people he just met. He just doesn't seem to give a fuck.

It's much the same in the airport when they arrived, she was so far behind him people kept debating if it was even her. And it happened in other appearances, most notably at Armani's party before the Oscars when he walked side by side with his friend Zach, leaving her way behind.

Now there are two options: One: H is a terrible partner who tries to pretend that he's all sweet and loyal for the public but actually treats his gf poorly. Or two: H is a good partner (though maybe not to K) and has a reason to be cold and distant to her we may never know. But the thing is you cannot deny that shift once the spotlight is off so either way the perfect couple narrative seems to fall apart.

On The Clock

Strictly speaking, on the clock would only be the official photos and the acceptance speech. Which is all that the general public will see and care about. If you so much as look at any photo made in between, the backstage ones or the audience ones, the cracks begin to appear. He barely even looks at her.

Now, to the IG photo. My first reaction was same as yours, but once you think a minute, you can easily recognize the pattern. The photo with K, much like the photos with his parents, were made on the clock, for the sole purpose of uploading them to the social media. They are not personal. Not to mention, the pose is still rather strained if you look closer (and trust me, I don't want to). He holds his own hands very loosely over her body and her hands are crossed over his sleeves. She's not looking thrilled either. And then there's the little fact that after this cordial collage, H posted a separate photo of the HR cast on stage with a massive heart over the picture of Connor. Notably, it's the last one, just like in the speech Connor was mentioned last and separately on his own. But that's a topic of its own.

As for the "Now he's gonna be even more loud." comment, I think it's also a part of the pattern. Every time K appears, H is even more adamant in including Connor at every opportunity even without a good reason. We are seeing it now with all the Bell Media content, where H centered Connor several times and most notably, when asked about the CSAs, said he was happy to see his family, HR family AND Connor. Which still baffles people but whatever that meant, shows his priorities loud and clear.

I feel like by now, we've seen enough to make a choice: either you believe the happy couple narrative and accept everything else as random factors or you don't and then one extra posed photo should not change your opinion.

For Hudcon, It’s like someone insistently telling you the sky is blue. Like at some point you gonna start questioning is the sky blue?
