anywayyyy still gonna be there next week lol free Palestine y’all
can someone explain why i’ve been going to the pro-Palestine rallies for 5 weeks now and not only did my dad message me randomly last week to say he was 50m behind me, THIS WEEK HE CORNERED ME NEXT TO THE BATHROOM AND TRIED TO TALK? honestly the stalking is the weird part i was weirdly okay about everything else. wish i could’ve captured his shock when he saw me scarfed tho lmaooo
the amount of people at the free Palestine rally today was so heartwarming. i know there’s not much i can do as one person but at least it’s something
the fact that people i know act like they’re such activists and would never stand for injustice are the same people that think they’ve done something special when they share one single photo of a literal dead child and then follow that WITH A PHOTO OF YOU SMILING WITH YOUR BOYFRIEND GETTING DRINKS? the last thing i want to see right now is you showing off about how privileged you are to even be alive right now after thinking you did something by sharing a photo of a dead child. it’s givingggg performative activism. like yes babe pay yourself on the back for bringing awareness to a genocide for a single and immediately following it with how great your life is
it’s actually making me nauseous seeing people i know just casually post about going out and having lunch or seeing friends or whatever when two seconds later i’ll see a Palestinian child that has been martyred in the most gruesome way. no one cares about your friends or your boyfriend or your lunch or your halloween costume or whatever. we already know that mainstream news sources can’t be trusted and as individuals there is not much we can do but share the truth of what is happening and offer dua for the freedom of Palestine. if you have any kind of platform, idc if you have 5 or 500 followers, you should be using that to bring light to what is happening in Palestine. Astaghfirullah, i know i should not be judging but it makes me sick. may Allah grant those in Palestine peace and freedom Inshallah
Aal-i-Imraan 3:169
Wala tahsabanna allatheena qutiloo fee sabeeli Allahi amwatan bal ahyaon AAinda rabbihim yurzaqoona
Think not of those, who are slain in the way of Allah, as dead. Nay, they are living. With their Lord they have provision.
Quote from the Holy Quran, Al-Baqara 2:154
Wala taqooloo liman yuqtalu fee sabeeli Allahi amwatun bal ahyaon walakin la tashAAuroona
And call not those who are slain in the way of Allah "dead." Nay, they are living, only ye perceive not.
honestly it actually baffles me how it can take this long for people to start spreading awareness about what’s going on in Palestine. if you have any kind of social media platform and any kind of heart you should be posting about the literal genocide that is currently happening. no one wants to see partnerships or ads or little “spend the day with me” videos, they want change and they want people to actually show that they care about what is right and wrong. i’ve literally unfollowed so many “influencers” and celebrities because it disgusts me how you can share a single post about what’s happening and then go back to posting about themselves. shame on them and shame on the australian government for supporting the ethnic cleansing and murder of millions of Palestinians. Inshaallah people start to wake up soon
somewhere between then and now, long hair became hijab, tight dresses became abayas, music became Quran, crying became praying, going out became going to the masjid, buying new clothes became giving to charity, disrespecting became distancing, somewhere inbetween she was lost and He guided. Alhamdulillah
Alhamdulillah 🙌🏻

Nikah: A marriage contract
In Islam, nikah (Arabic: نِكَاح nikāḥ) is a sacred contract between two people. The binding of two people till death or divorce. The contract is usually both on paper and verbally.
If I am being honest, I find the whole concept of Nikah quite incredible. It leaves me amazed how two people, who months ago were complete strangers decide to bind their lives together like this.
Nikah encompasses various essential elements, including the consent of both individuals, the presence of witnesses, the offer (ijab) and acceptance (qabul) of the marriage proposal, and the Mahr (dowry) agreed upon by the couple. The Mahr represents a symbolic gift given by the groom to the bride, signifying that he is willing to take care of her financially.
Nikah is a public declaration of the commitment and love between two people as they get ready to embark on a life long journey together with witnesses and family members.
Beyond the legal and contractual aspects, Nikah holds deep spiritual significance within Islam. In our religious belief, it is understood that the husband and wife are a part of the same souls. That when they get married they complete each other spiritually.
O Allāh, please do not let us attach our hearts to people who are not meant to be in our lives. If this does happen, help us to accept it with grace and to learn from the experience. May we be able to move on from these connections without being haunted by them. امين
O Allāh, please fill our lives with people who have good intentions. May we be surrounded by people who know what they are saying, who would not harm us, and who keep their promises. Remove from our lives anyone who has bad intentions, who does not keep their word, or who intends to harm us.
He replied, “I complain of my anguish and sorrow only to Allaah, and I know from Allaah what you do not know.
-Surah Yusuf (12:86)
