I HAVE TO SUCCEED.
there is no other option.
First all night-er of the semester. I have a large scale International Relations test at 10 a.m. All I want to do is just be in the company of Ryan, go out to dinner, and shower him with gifts. But first, I must accomplish the task of getting an "A" on this exam! Until then!!!!!
Update: February 5, 2014
A lot has been going on in my life as of recently. First of all, I haven't had time to write a damn thing because Ive been so busy! I really miss the times when I had time to sit down and really write everything down I deemed important or significant. Well, those days are over, and I guess that just makes me more efficient now.
So, here is a list of all the significant things I wish to highlight that have been taken prominence in my life:
- Just signed up for my first triathlon! April 13, 2014 in Cocoa Beach. (I'm actually really nervous, but I know it can only be supplemental to my physical and mental health)
- School is taking a toll on my mind, but to give positive insight, my reading is has become much faster and my abilities to discern necessities of success have directly correlated with this.)
- Ryan is doing great. I mean he's working, but he's doing well. And, by well I mean the company is a solid place for someone with only nine months post graduation under their belt. But, I suspect that he wants to turn the page and start writing the next chapter in respect to his professional life, and I don't blame him. I respect him so much, hence one of the reasons why I love him. He does what needs to be done, he has so much strength and courage and willpower. I just want him to be happy though, with work that is.
-Jack is so old! He's getting so big. Last week we got him groomed for the first time, and it seems that he has acquired some sort of infection on his face. Also, he is getting neutered on Friday (poor guy), but I think this will be a good thin.
Well, I think that's it for now, I don't want to hold you here all night.
Goodnight everyone (or should I say good morning?) and I will talk to you soon.
My Best,
J.S. Wright
falling asleep. Must. Finish. Paper.
WOW. I forgot how busy I would be when school was in session. It has been a little while since I have written anything on this blog, but I think that this is a good time to start again.
My daily schedule is jam packed to the brim, and sleep is starting to seem like more of a luxury rather than a routine activity nowadays. I've been waking up at 6-6:30 a.m. which I guess is normal. I'm out the door by 7:30 the latest, after eating some brain food, and off to the library. Each day I have class at 10 a.m. and then another one around noon. I can't believe how big the workload is this year, and how little time there is left in the day for anything other than eating, working out, working, and homework. Ahh!
Well anyways, it will all pay off someday.
Still working at the Abbey...yeah don't want to even go into that and also working at South and York.
Yours truly,
J.S. Wright
So...
I haven't really posted anything for a while, and by a "while" I mean over a month. The last four to five weeks have been pretty stressful all around. Lets see, where to even start?
1. Transferring is a pain in the ass. The university I am currently attending does not want to release my transcripts and the university I'm transferring to has such a big admissions department that it's almost near impossible to get in contact with a live person.
2. Money is tight. I don't seem to be making that much at my job and my hours keep shrinking for no reason.
3. A drunk driver totaled two out of the three cars in our driveway last Sunday and then rationalized leaving over notifying us that he had destroyed our cars. Well at least he's alright, hopefully.
4. We want to make our next move. Both of us are really getting sick of this place. The only problem is that money is tight so it's hard to find the most opportune time to leave.
Now let me just say that there are good things to that can come out of this stress.
1. Ryan and I have a good thing going and we seem to become closer through all the stress. It's like we work against eachother for a short period of time and then all of a sudden we realize that we are better off working together. This is when our relationship really seems to show it's strength. This is also another reason I know it is going to last.
2. Our dog is the shit, end of story. This week he seems to be in a cuddly stage and each morning when we wake he's just cuddled in between us. Love it.
3. California seems to be our goal, and I'm down with that as long as we do it in a timely fashion and cover all the appropriate bases.
4. We really want to move to San Francisco. I can see us doing well there. I can hopefully pick up a bartending job and he can find work through his various connections out there. Also, I will continue school and then we can go from there.
All in all I guess you have to take the bad with the good and just hope for the best.
Best Regards,
J.S. Wright
The Lumineers swept into St. Augustine for their very first show in the state of Florida. The show was electric through out the whole show,.With them even connecting with the crowd like no other by going out in the excited crowd to play a few songs.
Marla's philosophy of life was that she might die at any moment. The tragedy, she said, was that she didn't.

Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros- St Augustine Stopover! I was there, thanks for the picture to remind me of such a great experience.
When you're young all you can do is look ahead, when you're amidst the middle of your life all you can do is look around, and when you're old all that is left is to look back.
