Like I get how seeing so much bad shit happening in the world every day can negatively affect your mental health. I get that. I really do. But there’s a fine line between intentional ignorance (because he can afford to do so) and taking a break from keeping up to date with what’s going on. He cannot pull the mental health card here. It’s willful ignorance. He has a responsibility to use his platform for good.

anyways i’ll post this here too since i posted it on twt:

i think we should all just.. unfollow maddy. tell your friends to unfollow her. tell your mutuals to unfollow her. all she does is try to push harmful MLMs onto innocent people who just follow her in attempt to feel that para-social relationship w/ tyler and by extension his family. she doesn’t really OFFER anything in terms of content about the band, and i don’t really understand why we give a platform to artists’ families anyways because they a) don’t deserve it and b) seem to all eventually try to manipulate it into putting money in their pockets by taking advantage of fans.

i’m not going to watch her story or whatever, but i’ve seen/heard people talk about how wildly insensitive it is because apparently she’s trying to capitalize and profit off of tragedy and she’s downright refused to remove it because it’s putting money in her pockets.

I completely agree with this. Basically today Maddy was talking about all the craziness in the world..... and then that her scam is doing a SpEcIaL pRoGrAm to help their black coaches or something. So yeah... she’s using her platform (which she only has because of who her brother is) to PROMOTE A SCAM and USING BLACK LIVES MATTER to get her more money. What’s more damning is that people have reached out to tell her that and she said this:

She admitted she would delete the post BUT THAT IT IS GETTING TOO MUCH ATTENTION. Even though it is completely tasteless and disgusting to use BLM to get people to sign up for her scam (bullshit that she doesn’t make money off of it).

Please. Unfollow her. She has been handed a platform she doesn’t deserve and is manipulating her brother’s fan base for her own benefit.
