WELCOME TO THE COAST . . .

this is the home of the British Columbian sea wolf ; more specifically 'J3939M'. J3939M has been radio collared and researched for quite a long time, though has recently been switched to a new research team.

J3939M is a juvenile male wolf, only a few months away from adulthood. he responds positively to attention, both from other wolves, humans, and whatever else is willing to interact. he seems to be completely apathetic to human discourse.

J3939M's prey drive is centered around sea creatures. sea creatures are more than welcome in his territory, but they should block the 'fishing 🐾' tag if they want to avoid posts about it.

J3939M has internal packmates — for lack of a wolf equivalent term, he has DiD. he also engages in a small pack of other radio collared canidae.

J3939M struggles with indirect questions ; the wolf needs straightforward communication.

J3939M will not follow back NSFW blogs without heavily filtering them.

Hello! I am curious about how J3939M started using third person pronouns and if J3939M has any gear?

J3939M actually did not start using third person pronouns until recently, after discovering many other wolves in his pack using them and finding euphoria in the concept. J3939M also enjoys bolding its name. in J3939M's own words, "it feels like a researcher writing down the ID number, then highlighting — bolding — the ID number for their teammates to find easier."

J3939M has a collar, but the rest of its gear is much more subtle. J3939M has a dog chain that he wears around his neck or clipped to his belt, dog bone carabiners on his bag / chain / keychain, socks with paws, removeable fangs, & a lot of sea based clothing / accessories, since J3939M is a sea wolf.

hello ! — for future reference, please refer to J3939M in the third person, rather than using you / your. J3939M is not upset, this is purely informative.

usually, the letter at the beginning of the radio collar ID is either age or area. for J3939M, it means 'juvenile'. he is unsure whether or not he will change it to A3939M or keep the J when we turns 18.

J3939M has OCD, as well as autism, & relies heavily on numbers, stats, percentages, etc. to do tasks & go about his life. '3' is J3939M's safe number. the square root of 9 is 3 ; hence '3939'. many creatures with radio collars have their awakening date or birthday somewhere in their ID, but not J3939M.

usually, the letter at the end of the radio collar ID is a wolf's gender. in this case, 'M' stands for male.

Hello! I saw J3939M’s post about the terms for canines and the post for felines! I was wondering if J3939M could do some for fox’s specifically? Like red foxes? I know their tail is called a brush but that’s it…

They should invent a word for the nonhuman version of a baby fever, where I have the desire to hunt and provide for wolf cubs and maul anyone that goes near them, watching their little tails wag upon seeing me, licking them clean, hearing their first howls, the pack getting bigger as they slowly grow beside me and we start going on hunts together, whether I've fathered them or they're my little siblings or niblings or cousins, it doesn't matter to me.

I want to be a part of a wolf cub's life.
