“I would actually love to have some fries,” Hana admitted, she never understood why she had a need to eat when she was drinking or even feeling the buzz, it was just a habit she had since the first time she got drunk and had to eat a burger or even french fries before passing out. “At least you have people to keep you busy around here.”
“I think I might be able to swing that. Pretty sure the cook’s been lookin’ your way through the window so it shouldn’t be hard, when I go put in the order just smile and wave.” That and Jackie certainly didn’t mind a little girls helping girls gesture of good faith. “Yeah I think I’d always rather have a busy night than one where it drags... Then again quiet ones also mean the bar’s cleaner during close. Pick my poison, right?”
jakefcirchild:
“Very long day,” he agreed with a nod. It had been a long shift, as always, and he was exhausted, as always, but not ready to go home yet – as always. He wondered what it said about him that he rather wanted to be in a bar and watch guys behave like they were drinking alcohol for the first time than sleep at home in his bed. “Yeah, I think I know what you mean. Doesn’t make it any less embarrassing, but they probably don’t even notice that,” he admitted with a sigh and a shake of his head. As she placed her question, he gave a short nod, gesturing over to the empty seat opposite him. “Sure, take a seat. I don’t mind the company.”
"I’d say me too, but I don’t think sleeping until ten and watching Netflix for four hours really counts. Though if it makes you feel any better, I think I’m in for a long night.” A grimace crossed her face momentarily as one of the bikers shoved another against the wall, probably for cheating at their game of pool. “Pretty sure they won’t be noticing much of anything once that last beer hits.” Idly, she wondered if Roman would stick around long enough to help the worst few amble out before sliding into the seat across from her momentary savior. “Thanks. I’m Jackie, by the way. In case you forgot in the long wait between me taking your order and now. Also it sometimes helps to know who the hell you’re sharin’ a booth with.”

Accepting the coffee, Ryker gave Jackie a smile and a nod of thanks. “Nice and cold, just how I wanted my hot coffee,” he teased after taking a sip. The shattering glass caught his attention and he chuckled. “Hey, don’t go getting judge-y there, J.C. I’m one of those guys.”
"I’m trying to feel bad here, but you’re ordering coffee at a bar... At night. You should know better. Not judge-y, just annoyed because it’s cutting into my tips. Yeah I know pretty well how quickly you turn into one of them. Scoot, I’m hiding with you.”

As soon as Althaea walked out of the two story family home that she shared with one other person, she saw that dreaded motorcycle. That horrible bike that she said she was going to trash. And, hell, there was no time like the present in her mind. So she went back up the stairs and grabbed the first thing she could find. It happened to be a bat which was good enough for her. When she got back down the stairs, she kicked the bike as hard as she could onto the ground. To be honest, it was a little heartbreaking hurting a precious motorcycle like that, but she was too angry to care right now. Next thing she knew, she was slamming the bat down onto every part of the bike over and over again until it started falling apart. After a few moments, the bike was almost a pile of junk on the ground and the bat was starting to slowly break. So Aly sat down on the curb next to it and let out a sigh. Hearing someone walking by didn’t divert her gaze away from the broken piece of junk in front of her though. All she did was hold up the bat. “Wanna take a swing?”
"That bat couldn’t hit a softball if it wanted to.” Bright hues flickered between the near shattered weapon and its most recent victim as she attempted to piece the puzzle together. “Look, I’m no expert here and clearly you’ve taken Carrie Underwood’s song to a whole new level... But it might be a good idea to get away from the scene of a crime after you’ve committed it.” Spending enough of her life around the motorcycle club had informed Jackie of one exceptionally crucial fact: they loved their bikes more than booze, their mothers, and God himself. Possessing the audacity to vandalize one in general was the epitome of reckless, but in broad daylight while still lingering by the metaphorical smoking wreckage? Dangerous. “C’mon, Aly. You need to get up.”
“Open the door!” ( from Cole )
"Break it down!” Her voice reverberated off the wooden door to the man on the other side, a taunting grin playing at her lips despite him being unable to actually witness it. Only silence followed her jest and suddenly Jackie froze, hues widening at the realization that somebody like Cole might try his luck for the hell of it. “I’m kidding!” She protested whilst turning the knob, swinging the barrier open with both palms raised in case he had been prepared for a full on assault. “Seriously don’t do that. I can’t afford to have Mr. Stewart from maintenance come put it back on its hinges. He already had to fix whatever the hell we did to the sink faucet last month and I’m not trying to awkwardly explain myself again.”
“I don’t want to be alone.”
Her gaze leveled on the other woman for an extended moment, absorbing every inch of her features as they revealed a quiet vulnerability that most were too afraid to voice. Since the moment Theia unceremoniously appeared in Jackie’s life, it had become an unspoken fact that she would drop everything in a heartbeat to sit beside someone who was as much family as her own flesh and blood. That utter devotion kept her fighting for their friendship, clawing at every frayed seam to keep them in tact despite distance, circumstance, or the cruel bitch called life. No jokes fell from parted lips for that reason alone as the crushing weight of whatever lingered over her best friend’s shoulders took immediate precedence. “Well lucky you,” she whispered, inching ever closer on the couch as she brought Theia’s head down to the crook of her shoulder. “Because neither do I.” Slender fingers drew through the other woman’s dark locks. “I love you, y’know that?”

Heel tapping at the floor, leg bouncing up and down from an impatience not due to the long wait for his drink. This Roman could be patient for; it was the length between jobs that had him jostling his leg up and down, back and forth. “Should have a word with whoever makes ‘em,” he quipped, glancing at the drink as it was set before him. “You want me to have a word with them?” He questioned, tilting his head in the direction the noise had come from.
"Oh trust me, I did. He told me to go somewhere that I won’t repeat.” The lack of offense on her face spoke volumes of how the staff at The Alibi Room would tease one another, especially during hectic nights. “Nah don’t compromise yourself with the boys just for my sake. I’m just annoyed that you had to wait since you’re one of my favorite tables. Why aren’t you over there with the others?”
luciiaperez:
“Don’t even worry about it.” Lucia knew all about having to deal with a group of guys that were acting like idiots. Something she wished she could avoid but there were rules even when she was at work. “They look like the same guys I see at the club, all idiots I swear. Some people shouldn’t be allowed to drink at the end of the day. You doing okay? I know they can be a handful.”
"Thanks. I seriously appreciate that.” Chuckling as arms crossed over her chest, she pivoted to face the rowdy males while they only continued growing more boisterous. “Maybe it’s just a guy thing, they all become absolute buffoons when put in close spaces together. There should be a special license you get just for drinking, but then again... I shouldn’t complain since their money goes in my pocket at the end of the night. I’ll survive, this isn’t even the worst night we’ve had.”
darylcox:
He observed the girl in silence as she explained the delay on his order, there was an annoyed expression on his face, but he forced himself not to make a scene out of it, he was doing his best to not draw attention to him. “Maybe they should be at the playground drinkin’ hot cocoa if they can’t take a few drinks.” The blond finally said, bringing the glass to his lips, taking a sip. “Are they friends of the owner?“
"I dare you to say that to their faces.” Jackie muttered, though her lips quirked up momentarily from the corners at the idea of a poor soul trying to tell the Wolves what they could or couldn’t do in their own bar. “Anybody with that wolf emblem on their jacket is a friend of the owner. Hence the skewed priority.” Just in time, another waitress traipsed around the bar with a brush and dust pin in hand to attack the broken shards before somebody actually found themselves injured. “Guess I can’t blame you for not realizing that since you’re not a regular.”
hcnakim:
Hana had an exhausting day at work and was thankful it was the end of the week she finally settled down in the bar seat, chuckling at the mention of guys not being able to hold their liquor. “Well they are the ones to go first so, in a way even if they can’t hold their alcohol at least they don’t spend as much money to get drunk.”
"That’s great for them except that I need their drunk money to keep my lights on. So I’d be all kinds of cool with them figuring out the meaning of the word pacing.” Not that Jackie would stop serving until they were out cold on the bar top, everybody had a mission tonight. Hers just involved scraping by for another week. “You want anything else? I think I might be able to swing some fries or whatever on the house.”
jakefcirchild:
“I’m sure that’s a question many would get upset about, but I really don’t have the energy to do that in me.” He’d had a long shift, and just wanted to sit for a while and enjoy a drink. He didn’t blame the woman for taking so long – he didn’t want to be blamed for his mistakes at work either. “That doesn’t surprise me. Are they even in any shape? It looks like this is the first time they’re trying alcohol,” he chuckled with a shake of his head. “Like I said, it’s fine. I really don’t blame you. And I’ve had worse waitresses, at least you got my order right.”
"Yeah you seem a little worn out, no offense. Long day?” Sometimes all it took to relieve the pressure of a particularly distasteful shift was a few kind words from someone who held no obligation to give them. “That’s just how guys around here look when they congregate with a little booze. Hive mind, y’know? One of them starts actin’ like a fool so the rest follow.” Especially when they were the primary patrons and owned the bar itself. Nobody ever accused all the bikers of being intelligent. “Am I a decent enough waitress to bother you a little while longer? I’d kinda kill to hide in this corner until somebody else braces the storm over there, if you get my drift.”
