I met Ralph Fiennes at stage door after the final performance of Small Hotel, in Bath. Safe to say I will not be recovering from this experience for quite a while, if ever.

He was lovely, despite the constant drizzle and the fact he had a cold. Wasn’t posing for photos, but he was more than happy for people to take them while he signed stuff and for us to film as well. I did both, especially when it was my turn to get my programme signed.

The little video of him smiling when I excitedly said thank you will be something I rewatch far too many times than is healthy 😭

(He also unintentionally stole my pen and used it to sign other people’s stuff. It was a good 10 minutes before I got it back off him LMAO)

Also got my programme signed by Rachel Tucker and Rosalind Eleazar, who were two of the other stars of the play. Both of them were equally as lovely and gracious. Sadly didn’t get to meet Francesca Annis, but I absolutely adored her as Athena.
