I always find it funny when people say that artists are lazy. It is really not true. As I’m not getting paid so I’m going to be working on the comic. With too much time on my hands, I started to work on the Star-Fall Resistance Comic.

The comic is based on the NPCs that are created in the Star-Fall RPG universe. Though the comic does parallel the Podcast and they will often cross paths they are different stories in the same universe.
The first two chapters will sound very familiar as they are taken directly from the Star-Fall Actual Play Podcast scripts. From there is where they start to deviate.
Working on a Science Fiction Comic is a Challange
I always wanted to work in comics however my art has deviated from drawing comics when I was young. So relearning how to draw comics has been a major challenge. The biggest challenge is that most of my characters looked alike. This comes from learning how to draw people from a Stan-Lee how to book when I was nine years old (You have no idea how hard it is to break 35 year old habits).
Well Developed NPC characters have a new life
As a gamemaster sometimes its frustrating to have an amazing NPC never get the light of day in a game. In the Star-Fall Actual Play Podcast I was not expecting the players to want to leave the planet so soon. So the story about Erick, Scott and Gemma was completely forgotten as far as the players were concerned. With such a great story I had to tell it. Getting voice actors is tough so I decided to create the comic.
I have also decided to use the comic to explain the motivations of one of the most enigmatic of Allies of the Fifth Crew. Why he does things and why he asks for nothing in return. The Star-Fall Resistance comic. Will not only address those issues but will tell his compleat story.

At the point of writing this blog post I have created Ten chapters of the comic. Once we are done with the proofreading we will decide how we are going to distribute the comics. Being that we are not taking ads the Comics will not be free. Pateron backers of the Star-Fall Actual Play Podcast will be able to read the comic as part of their Pateron Package.
