VS/Pink has changed company policy and we canât confront, follow, accuse, or call security/cops on lifters. We literally canât do anything. My managers watched a girl snag a ton of panties on the floor and couldnât do anything. Just tryna spread the word. Be careful because itâs possible that not every employee will comply but if they try anything youâre in the right to sue soo đ€·đŒââïž
đđđ
And it was already a level 1 lifting spot!
so this is what happened last weekend... i found a sewn in rfid in a bra i got and none of the employees had done anything...
This is my laptop bag. The first picture is what it looks like empty. The second has $141 of stuff in it including a 400 page book and two spools of yarn.
For guys/people that canât carry formed purses because thatâs sus, consider a laptop bag, especially if youâre young. Itâs not sus at all to have a laptop bag. It doesnât hold as much, but it hold a lot.

My mother wouldn't let me go out today, literally the best day for lifting, so I got absolutely NOTHING at all!!!!!!! I just wanted to get some cute bags and maybe some new lip glosses. Me and one of my lifter friends were gonna have make a whole day of just going to a bunch of stores amd just get a bunch of shit.
that sucks, but itâs dangerous to go out on black friday because they know people lift and itâs crawling with security. lift tomorrow, when everythingâs disorganized and all the employees are tired
How it feels getting ready with all my luxury lifted makeup at a shitty $15 table from a yard sale because I haven't figured out how to steal furniture yet:
you donât always need brand new stuff, just because something isnât expensive dosnt mean you need an expensive version. that said i hear ikea is pretty easy
Hey yall here it is
*š`*âą.žž.âą*š`*âąđđL U S H đđâą*š`*âą.žž.âąÂŽ*š`* 1) Behavior: âą Your behavior could potentially be your number one alibi. Presentation is everything. You will most likely want to do your hair and makeup, wear a cute outfit, look as innocent as possible. The sales associate will ask you what youâre looking for, let them know that you are familiar with lush products, and you know what you came in for.
âąBehavior can be a dead giveaway. If you have shaky hands, a worried look on your face, you canât stop looking behind your back, around the store, and youâre always holding the item you want to take, that is going to stick out to the SA. If you hold onto an avobath bath bomb for 20 minutes the SAs are going to notice if you donât buy that bath bomb. Be as sneaky and fast as you can. Have steady hands. Donât stand around waiting for an SA to disappear because chances are they wonât leave you alone.
âąDonât be loud. Donât be sloppy. And try to avoid taking items to other sections of the store. Donât fidget be calm. If you act strange or out of place when youâre nervous you shouldnât be lifting!!!! I promise! Sometimes certain things arenât meant for everyone.
2) Know your store: âą Store size will be the ultimate dealbreaker. As unfortunate as this sounds if your store is tiny, you probably shouldnât be lifting there. My lush has minimal cameras and lazy SAâs. Most of the time when I go into my lush all of the workers (all twoof them đ) are just using hand massage bars or scrubs on each other and sampling their products. ^ I once waited at the counter to be checked out for almost 5 minutes. During this time I had my back to the SAs and on a whim (since I had been waiting forever to check out) I stuffed some items in my other bags. So easy when the SAs are lazy.
âą Do your research!! Know your stores policy! Even googling your state + shoplifting laws can help you even the slightest bit. I know that my lush has a no chase policy, if they spot suspicious behavior they will customer service you to death. Just cooperate and calm. Donât lead the SA to believe you feel unsettling.
3) Your purse: âą I have a slouchy kind of boho hippie bag that I have used forever. I realized thatâs what was a small giveaway in ulta. Walking in with an empty bag, and leaving with a full heavy bag. They knew what was going on. So now I have sleek and structured bag that works so much better. The outside of this bag looks square and fitted and the inside is basically a black hole to say the least.
âą With a purse like this, at Lush you can stuff as many bath bombs in your bag as you need with your purse helping you stay discreet. You can also get away with this with a shopping bag. For example hollister has a structured dark bag. With this kind of bag on the crook of your arm and the lush shoppers bag on the crook of your arm (kind of hiding the first bag) you can slip things into your purse instead of the lush bag.
4) Actual tips: âą Only conceal an item if youâre positive youâre not being watched. âą Its absolutely much better to leave with nothing than to leave with getting caught. Donât be greedy! Trust your instincts! âą Go into Lush on a busier day but at times when the store is somewhat slow. ^ Remember if someone else is shopping most of the time they arenât paying attention to you. They are too busy shopping! âą My fav blind spot in lush is in the back by the foot scrubs. âą Donât spend too much time handling the item you plan on lifting: I brought attention to this once but it needs reiterated. This will give the LP or SA more time to see you with merchandise and more time for them to become suspicious of what you plan on doing with it. Donât conceal in the same spot more than twice. Donât go back to the bath bomb display more than twice. Donât be greedy!!!!! Take your items and conceal as fast as you can! After you conceal in your shopping bag/ purse put any extra items you want back. Most of the SAs are extremely lazy. Grab your phone and pretend you are going to meet up with someone. âyeah Iâm in lush. Do you wanna meet here? Yeah. I guess I am. Ok Iâll find you thereâ and leave. I always take a few of the bath bomb paper baggies and I go into a bathroom and I put the bath bombs in the bags. I always always leave the mall I hit lush. I donât lift there often. Please make it look like youâre actually shopping you know? Open jars of lotion, smell bath bomb bombs, rub eyeshadow shades on your wrist. Look for prices.
Iâve never made a masterpost before I hope I covered the basics! Stay safe and have a dreamy experience lifting at Lush.
Yay I didnât think this would get this many notes!
you deserve all the notes on this, anyone that would take the time to write all this out and give such useful tips, deserves the notes.fr
I use a different "Cup Method"
Most malls have at least some kind of food court.
I try to find the one that gives the biggest non-see through cup,Â
Mc Donalds has the large sweet tea cups that are only $1 that are Styrofoam and they are pretty big. I ask for it with out ice, the ice takes up to much room.
I think Chick-Fil-a has some pretty big cups as well, just make sure NO ICE!Â
The whole part of the no ice is that youâre gonna pour most of the liquid out at one of the mall bathrooms not in the store that you will be going into.
now you can do this method two ways,Â
if the store does not have a bathroom try to hit those last, if the store does have a bathroom hit those first,Â
what youâre gonna do is detag in the dressing room, carry your cup in there with you place the tags into the cup. (make sure you place the actual pin part back into the tag you do NOT want a hole in your cup!!)
now if youâre gonna hit other stores go use the bathroom in the store that youâre in! do not walk out with the cup full of tags!!!!!!! and take the tags out of the cup in a stall, make sure you pick a stall with a trash can or those little ones stuck to the side. yes put your hand into the cup and dig those suckers out!! place in trash can of course! not the toilet!! you do not want to clog the toilet!Â
now once youâve gotten ALL of them out! leave the store, (fake a call, what ever!)
hit the next store that has a bathroom! repeat the process!!Â
now when it comes to stores that donât have a bathroom, this is where you have to say good bye to your beloved cup!Â
after repeating most of the processÂ
Taking the cup into the fitting room,Â
placing the tags into the cup etc.. .
now no bathroom = not being able to take out the tags!Â
walk around the store a little more.and then throw the cup away in the store!Â
IN THE STORE!!! for the love of god do not walk out of the store with a cup full of tags the liquid will NOT stop them from going off!Â
now you can take your stuff to your car in between each store if you do that try to drive around to a different entrance and if you want to go hit another store just go get another cup, and repeat the process.Â
******* Just remember to get ALL of the tag pieces out of the cup if youâre able to do so in the bathroom.
Also if the liquid in the cup is getting low add water to it! just donât let any one see you do that! make sure there is enough so the tags donât rattle!Â
also!! if your in the last store when youâre gonna throw the cup a way make sure you throw it in the trash yourself! if they reach for your cup to throw it away say that youâre sick and youâd rather them not touch the cup. ask them if they can lift the trash can up to you so can you throw it away with out them touching it!
This has worked hundreds of times for me!Â
and lastly before this post gets any longerÂ
be nice! and try not to get caught!Â
if you have any questions feel free to ask.
also sorry for the length of this post I tried being very descriptive! Â
*** please donât add tags to this post if you reblog it!Â
i did this my very first haul! i used a starbucks hot chocolate cup
My beginnerâs guide to lifting đđ»âš
me trying to go back to the same store 2 days in a row
my stupid ass going into ht twice in a 10 minute time span but this time with a hat
This is at a t@rgët. Handcuffs? Is that allowed? Are loss prevention legally allowed to detain with HANDCUFFS??
i think in some places itâs legal to detain lifters with physical force until the police arrive, typically when theyâre being violent/dangerous
also iâm so sorry but i thought for a second that we were meant to be looking at his assđđ
that ass is NOT allowed
Skjskjskjskj hello my love đ this ass is thicker than a bowl of oatmeal and if he wants to use those handcuffs he is more than welcomed to use them on me I dont mind that heâs an LP I have a list if Ć€arÄeĆ„ LP that Iâve already fucked Iâll just add him to the list đđ€€
sorry but the bitch in the back just stretching is so funny cause itâs me trying to act casual while i got shit in my pockets
Bruh heâs a thiccie
ridiculous long list of collected tips.
michaelâs -no chase policy -cameras above the doors and registers -blind spots: knitting/embroidering, woodcrafts, paints, plants; avoid other customers -nothing is tagged -dress niceish -best if you go by yourself -go either an hour or two after opening or closing
victoriaâs secret -no lp -bras are tagged, panties are not -no chase policy
terrible companies -too faced -lush -the body shop -urban outfitters -american apparel -whole foods -trader joeâs
starbucks -four cameras: over the door, over the safe, over the register & over the managerâs desk in the back. managerâs donât have access to the camera footage; they can only access it after an âincidentâ has occurred -no chase policy -watch out for other customers -bagged coffee and mugs make nice presents and are only inventoried once a month. -nothing is tagged -the fridge with juices and salads cannot be seen from the barista side of the counter. baristas not held liable for it -instant coffees are pretty good and there are cute mugs around christmas -donât be a scumbag and steal from the tip jar jfc
general -double-check for secutiry tags -sensors inside cardboard tags in clothing -just double-check everything -if youâre lifting all day with your car, keep an empty gym bag in your backseat and dump stuff there in between stores -if the barcode is printed on the product and it is not a sticker, it wonât go off! -if you can, detag/conceal/etc in the menâs dressing room -bring your signifcant other and kiss them passionately if an SA is looking at you -grab two of everything you want - steal one and keep the other in the basket -be confident -donât get cocky -be careful -if it feels wrong, put it back -browse openly -scope out the places beforehand -the umbrella method: close the umbrella most of the way and drop small items in it (pracitce at home!) -dress like a rich snobby white kid: skinny jeans with boots and a north face & infinity scarf
sephora -never just go in, lift and leave -look around and test out shades. have a question about stuff youâre looking at ready. -test everything. look interested in makeup and new to high end stuff -carry a bag from somewhere else thatâs deep enough to shut at the top; ex. forever 21 bags -have a smaller purse and have like a hat or a pair of gloves or something (in the winter) that you can shuffle around in the bag so if an SA spots you mid-conceal or comes around a corner, etc, you can grab your gloves/hat/etc and put them on like youâre getting ready to leave the mall -listen to SAâs on their headsets. if you hear âso and so needs a bagâ, drop and run -never lift from a jc penney sephora -if you lift from sephora and feel weird after, go to a place young people usually donât go. then leave super hard. -it helps to be carrying something expensive with you, or wearing it. look expensive. have expensive taste. -if an SA asks you what youâre wearing for makeup now, always say something expensive. ânars sheer glow and a little bareMinerals powderâ works for me. fake expensive taste. -donât wear headphones. -donât wear a beanie. -wear lipstick in a noticeable shade. wearing a bright bold lip will make it look you know what youâre doing. if you donât, go in on a day you wonât be lifing and ask for a tutorial on how to do a lip. -wear heels. youll look classier. -take pictures of things. if an SA shows you an item, take a picture; youâll look genuinely interested. -if youâre about to leave but feel like someone is onto you, stop and play with a foundation. ask for help finding your shade and ask for a sample. the whole process takes a really long time. act sincerely interested. talk about your current foundation (use an expensive one) and say it breaks you out a bit or dries you out. make it sound worse. have a whole conversation. -when leaving, do not look around at other people. do not. go from looking at a product, checking your phone/the time, then leave. this works well. fake a phone call! say âyeah, iâm just in sephora, iâm leaving in two seconds. where did you want to meet? okay! see you soon.â mentioning the store is pretty helpful. -be really nice.
ulta -some ultas use soft RFID tags on their palettes/expensive items -if there are no blind spots, you can make one by facing the opposite way of the camera, or standing behind a partner -wear something fashionable. do your makeup well. break out your brand-name items⊠look expensive. look like you can buy that whole store if you wanted to. -bring a big bag; one that has structure so that SAs canât tell if itâs full or not. lots of lifters like the Michael Kors  Jet Set or Selma tote. -walk in; if youâre greeted say hello and smile back -grab an ulta shopping bag. place it in the crook of your elbow. leave your purse up by your shoulder until you can get to a blind spot. -test stuff! -put some stuff in your ulta bag! try putting two of the things you want so itâs not as sus. fill it up with items so it wonât be as noticeable on camera. -find your blind spot and move your purse to the crook of your elbow. conceal. donât linger. -put the stuff you donât want back! -if you have a bad feeling, ditch and go -perfumes are super tagged donât even think about it -donât park anywhere near it so they canât track your plates after you leave, just in case -best time: weekday evenings and weekend afternoons -go to prestige and take like one minute, then pick out some random item, then get a shopping bag so it looks like you actually want things -have a question ready, ask for a product they donât have -blind spots: high-end skincare aisle, low-end haircare aisle, clearance? -do your best to look nice and cute! confidence is key -if youâre not getting good vibes, itâs okay to leave!
old navy -nothing is tagged and there are no cameras??? -dressing rooms arenât monitored
groceries -go to the biggest 24/7 grocery store and scope it out at like 3-4 am -get a small cart with 2 layers and put two big reusable grocery bags there, open. put your groceries in there while you shop. then just walk out -itâs important that you scope it out before actually going. make sure nobody is stationed at the doors at all times. -if youâre nervous and thereâs nobody at the door, walk out looking at an old receipt like youâre looking at how much you spent or the taxes or whatever
urban outfitters -find a store that gives out large paper bags with those stringy handles. ask for a couple for a project on âbrandingâ or something. fill up like a quarter of the space to make it look normal. -there are magnet sensors -little items like books, home accessories, and jewelry can be carried in your hands; find a spot where no one can see you and just stuff what you want into your bag. corners are always good
lush -blindspot in the back of the store with the foot scrubs
for specific things -amiibos arenât tagged -lift more cotton panties because all that polyester shit ainât good for your lil gnome garden (via liftinglily)
office depot -nothing is tagged -nobody cares -cute stationary
gap -dressing rooms arenât monitored -only some things are tagged
icing -no tags
claireâs -fake tags/no tags
sallyâs beauty supply -no cameras -no-chase policy -between 5 and 8pm is your best shot -an hour or so after they open is the best time to lift something large; another person doesnât come in until 10:30 or 11:00
lifting bag -large structured bag so that you canât tell when itâs full or not
hot topic -the corners are good -bracelets are probably tagged
pier 1 -nothing is tagged -cameras are to monitor employee theft -nice candles, jewelry, scarves, stationary and trinkets
barnes & noble -cameras in toys/collectibles, the music/dvds, comics, the gift card/accessories area, and the sitting/reading area -good blond spot: classic lit -books are tagged sporadically -get a cup of coffee!!
â> message me if you have any corrections or anything!
Great tips! Thanks for putting it together!
So glad I just saw this lmao
Just need to add that the tips about Michaels are almost opposite of what itâs like near me. The tips are 100% wrong. I love these lists, but I definitely take them with a grain of salt.
does sephora have rfid tags on everything, are cameras watched?
GUYS I ALMOST JUST GOT CAUGHT I DITCHED BUT AN EMPLOYEE WAS FOLLOWING ME IT WAS AT SPENCERS. iâm really shook rn
update: both of my friends got caught but werenât prosecuted, that was fucking scary
full (almost) caught story: we were at spencerâs (wich was pretty empty) and my bag was pretty full but i decided to try to get some stuff anyways (donât do that) and so we walked in and got some jewelry, and concealed pretty obviously. then i noticed an employee behind me looking at us, so i took the stuff out of my bag (except 2 things i forgot) and asked her to put them back for me, then i speedwalked our and into a macyâs thatâs right next to it, trying to hide. i looked back and saw her talking to my friends, so i got outa there. i called them a few minutes later and they came to me and told me theyâd been caught. she was yelling at them but let them off after she got the stuff back.
lesson: donât lift in groups! especially when the store is almost empty! that was really stupid of us, because that mall is shutting down cause people donât shop there, so we knew there wouldnât be many people there. donât do what we did
