Masked Emotions *circa November 2021* I’ve been debating for a long time of whether to post this project I created. I decided that it had been long enough and that I should just go for it. So here it goes. I decided to create a mask that represented my experience with COVID-19. Back in October, I got COVID for a week, and it really sucked. This mask is showing my emotions of fear, stress, isolation, and shame that came with getting the virus. The arrows show the confusion of how I got it and all the worried thoughts racing through my mind. On the other side, it shows my physical reactions to the virus— running nose, tired ness, and lack of smell and taste.
