I love The Price is Right. Yeah, at it's core is consumerism, but it's so fun seeing so many average people on tv be happy and have fun. Truely average people. All the ages, heights and weights, various skin color and types, and different hair cuts and hair dyes. Quiet people, slow people, energetic people. You watch a short, fat, wrinkly, sun damage skin, older woman with a bad hair dye standing near a tall, blonde, absolutely stunning and perfect looking model. And they smile and hug and celebrate together because the older woman won a new car. It's so wonderful. And with people that lose, you rarely ever see anyone be pissy about it.

And Drew Carey ends the show by reminding everyone to take care of themselves and that he loves them. Also, make sure to spay and neuter your pets. Huzzah.
