Killer Queen charcoal and ink I did for a friend
Tribute to Steve Irwin, a guy who genuinely loved nature and animals.
This man was beyond real
“Crocodiles are easy. They try to kill and eat you. People are harder. Sometimes they pretend to be your friend first.” - Steve Irwin (r.i.p.)
So I got bored and was feeling creative so I tried my hand at making a fur suit head for fun. For a first try and not having any clue what I’m doing, I think it was a fun experience.
The skull of a horny toad and a floral bird that I sculpted are ready to be fired in the kiln!
This is a Springbok skull I sculpted with the back open to be used as a planter. I entered him into my university’s student art show, and he made it through the first round of judging! He is going on to compete against other works in round 2 for potential prizes! Coming from a biology background, it’s so much fun to get to spend time in the art department and see so many talented people and what they create. Wish me luck!
This is an Afro Moth Xanthopastis regnatrix it has a super fluffy thorax and is probably the most unique creature I’ve ever seen. PS don’t worry, I found it again a few seconds after it flew away and released it back into the wild.
This was my final “storyboard” project for my art class. It’s a 3 part piece that I titled “Deforestation” depicting a landscape transforming from woodland to neighborhood to wasteland.
Just a little bit of crosshatch practice with undertale stuff. Papyrus finding Sans at Grillby’s as usual. I’ll add some more background later.
This is a drawing I’ve wanted to do for a while and finally sat down and did it. It’s inspired by my favorite song, The Real World by Owl City. It’s a very literal interpretation of the lyrics, but I find the song beautiful at face value. When I listen to it I imagine pristine lush forests being destroyed and replaced by manmade structures and most people are oblivious to the loss, and this is the sad reality of what is really happening. “The Real World is a lovely place, I wouldn’t wanna live there”

Gesture drawings of animals for class
I’m taking my first art class ever, and it’s a drawing class. So I wanted to start posting the stuff I make for class. These are a few gesture drawings of people “in the wild”.
I made the cutest little one eyed friend tonight. This sweet little green tree frog has the kindest face even though it’s missing an eye.
