Another thing I'm milling over:

What the hell is up with Grillby's in Deltarune?

Sans may clearly be from Deltarune but that building is from Undertale (as far as we know)

Is it

1) A Deltarune!Grillby's that closed down and reopened as Sans' grocery store and he couldn't be bothered with the sign (i.e. it has not undergone multiversal travel)?

2) Evidence that Sans could freely travel between worlds at one point (before finally getting stuck in Undertale)?

3) Evidence that Sans could freely travel between worlds at one point, got stuck in Undertale, then got unstuck from Undertale in time to be present for the first chapter of Deltarune?

We've found The Place Where It Rained but that goddamn bar/grocery store??????

I'm sorry... I made art for something that isn't going to happen for a long while in my comic. Grillby is in Before the Anger, but it is mainly his daughter that makes any appearances. They are mainly only for comedy purposes (his daughter is also named Grillby.)

I like how dramatic this drawing is for a non-serious bit. Such minor characters deserve awesome art.

playing pranks, when joking’s for kids

maybe that skeleton knows it

says a lot about him, then
