Hey, so I'm currently open for commissions!
Lara as a mermaid for the “Icon” theme for MerMay. I always wanted o draw this tbh.
Maybe this is just my little projecting heart, but is zila or any of your other characters for that matter have hair loss? It's just that zilla's shorter eyebrows (though mine bald from the inside out) and thick eyeliner (which is the only way I can personally get fake eyelashes to look "natural") and her bald head just really remind me of my personal alopecia experience. Plus some of your other characters with mohawks look a lot like I used to with down-top balding. Idk this is probably nothing, but I've never seen a girl with balding in art ever, outside of the most truly mean caricatures, and I was just curious. I really love them regardless.
Thank you for this vulnerable question, anon. Zilla’s design wasn’t done with hair loss in mind, it was inspired by the puffer fish in combination with me wanting to design the mermaids with unconventional features, relying more on fish traits rather than human ones.
However, it is perfectly okay if you headcanon Zilla as having hair loss, because stuff like this, when people relate to my art in any way shape or form, I’m deeply flattered and touched. I never thought about it until your question, but now that you brought it to my attention, I’m thinking it might be worth exploring this aspect with her (it’s meant to be a webcomic that I can hopefully launch this summer) specifically because they’re mermaids, and hair is an important element in the way we usually picture them in our collective imagination, so it could work.
I'm not crying , you're crying.
orion!!
We all know what type of book the booktok girlies read right? Anyway, I thought I’d pay a little homage to that side of the internet for the Booktok theme for Mermay.
Mermay 2026 - 1. HELLO
Showing up 6 days late to my favorite art challenge because I have guests over and I also have some other fun things I'm working on, so I'm not gonna do all 31 prompts this year, only a selection of them.

when in doubt about whether or not to make a thing, do it for your 3 hardcore fans.
nothing is too niche. even if it's 1 person. even if the 1 person is you. just create. make it exist.
Felt like drawing Ariel today, after months of making barely any art.
CAMPAIGN 4 CHARACTERS
if you need me I guess I'll be screaming about this art and these characters until the campaign actually starts

'It's not too late to learn, Fenris'
I finally settled on the design for these two from my upcoming PunkMaids webcomic project. Don't yet have a name for the bass player hottie.
I open tumblr, I press my stupid little reblog button 20x, I disappear.
