Alfred and horses. horse girl Alfred. the United States has the most horses out of any country in the world and developed the most breeds out of any country. horses are a vital part of US culture and history and to that of Indigenous nations like the Comanche, the Blackfoot, Arapaho, Cheyenne, Lakota, everyone across the Plains. horses made much of American life possible for centuries. do not underestimate the importance of horses. do you understand. hawses.
anyway I think Alfred adores horses and I think he would be genuinely willing to kill someone for his horse. I think he always keeps horses regardless of time period and I think he has a weird emotional codependency with at least one at any given time. I think he's had closer friendships with his horses than he has any human or Nation and it's not even close. Alfred self-isolates from everyone EXCEPT from his horses he would never do that.
