ink and fresh cream ; a typical day in my 90s marauders reality.

𝟔:𝟐𝟎 - 𝟔:𝟒𝟓 ; most of my days at hogwarts start quite early — as i awake before most of the other students. i like to take my time to brush my teeth and put on some comfortable — yet practical — clothes and heads out for an early stroll around the castle. slow mornings are my favourite, just walking aimlessly and mindlessly while the only other awaken students are either prefects or quidditch players training on the pitch.

𝟕:𝟐𝟓 - 𝟖:𝟎𝟎 ; it is usually around this time that i go back to my dorm — having to walk back all the way from the viaduct courtyard to the ravenclaw tower. . . once i get there i start getting ready for the day, cleaning my face, putting on the school's uniform, doing my hair. i also always have to wake up mylie, my roomate, or else she'll never leave her bed.

𝟖:𝟑𝟎 - 𝟗:𝟑𝟎 ; once mylie & i are finally ready and unmotivated for the day, we head down to the great hall to eat something before class. breakfast's actually from 7:30 to 9:30, but since the there's always an unlimited amount of food (magic, i know) we like to go after most of the students already ate. expect the tables to be filled with dozens of delicacies, from fruit tarts to scones and perfectly creamy scrambled eggs.

𝟗:𝟒𝟎 - 𝟏𝟎:𝟑𝟎 ; first class of the day ! and it's potions. the sixth year course is actually interesting, where you learn more ‘advanced’ potions than the years prior, even if that class does require a lot of patience. just be prepared for the coldness of the walls in the dungeon, especially in freezing weather.

𝟏𝟎:𝟒𝟎 - 𝟏𝟏:𝟑𝟎 : this year professor dumbledore has instituted a new ‘class’, which only a few students are able to take, in exchange of cancelling a few hours from other classes. apparition is taught by professeur theseus scamander (also the DADA teacher). in this course you’re taught how to apparate and to grasp other more complicated spells.

𝟏𝟏:𝟑𝟎 - 𝟏𝟏:𝟓𝟎 : first break, aka where every person you meet in the corridors look like a ghost, with messy hair and eyebags. and if you manage to avoid getting a detention at this time ?? ooh you are very lucky !

𝟏𝟐:𝟎𝟎 - 𝟏:𝟎𝟎 : right before lunch, get ready for a tough DADA class. somehow, this class is absolutely one of my favourites, probably because of the practical demonstrations and duels during the course, compared to other subjects. but don't forget to do all your essays and to train consistently during the week.

𝟏:𝟏𝟎 - 𝟐:𝟎𝟎 : it's finally lunch time ! if i can give you an advice it's : do not rush and hurry into the corridors like litteraly every other students. like i said before, food is endless, so why would you rush to eat ?? also i don’t want to be squished up against other people. at lunch i usually eat a caesar or beef salad, because even if they seem light, these will fill you up !

𝟐:𝟏𝟎 - 𝟑:𝟎𝟎 : after lunch, what's better than a care of magical creatures class ?? professor newt scamander is such a cutie ! and he's soo passionate about his course which automaticaly makes you interested too ! i especially adore when we study hippogriffs, like they are just so sublime and interesting.

𝟑:𝟏𝟎 - 𝟒:𝟎𝟎 : since i’m pretty good at potions, alchemy is one of the elective classes that i take. however, the class and course itself is very material heavy and recquires much more competences and patience than common potions. it's a really practical and concrete subject, which i enjoy way more than other rhetorical classes (like divination).

𝟒:𝟎𝟎 - 𝟔:𝟎𝟎 : this free time is usually used by students to either study for upcoming tests, work on some essays or review the day’s lessons. in true ravenclaw fashion, mylie and i usually study in the common room, in our dorm or at the library. experiencing the ravenclaw common room is truly dream-like : the room’s ambiance shifts around a person based on their thought, creating this small space bubble of peace and calm, and the walls store echoes of students’ thoughts or ideas, whispering them to anyone when needed.

𝟔:𝟎𝟎 - 𝟕:𝟑𝟎 : dinner time isn’t really peaceful, however. students' presence is required and mandatory (unless you are stuck in detention or helping a professor). it is usually a time of sharing, where first years excitedly share how their day went, some students chat about the latest rumors, or debate about assignments and which professor gives the worst, while other, more calm and quiet, conversations fill every part of the hall.

𝟕:𝟒𝟎 - 𝟖;𝟑𝟎 : the last class of the day is (of course) astronomy. the view from the astronomy tower at night is simply breathtaking. on clear-sky nights, where the stars are more visible, you can feel yourself floating and falling towards them. just make sure to wrap yourself in warm clothing or bring a blanket with you.

𝟖:𝟑𝟎 𝐨𝐧𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 : around this time, most students have already retreated to their dorms, very few of them still lounge around in the common room. but officially (for the fifth to seventh years who know it), curefew is only up from 10pm, which means that you actually can roam around the castle's ground for a little longer, some of the portraits are always happy to chat for a bit. the ravenclaw dorm’s sheets are soaked with a sweet, soporific micture while the sheer curtains absorb your dreams and thoughts and whisper them back to you when you can't sleep.

LOA BROKEN DOWN ...

at it's very core , the law of assumption is about reality and how you perceive it . if you assume something , that is what you will perceive .

if you think the sky is blue = the sky will be blue ; if you think the sky is red = the sky will be red . that's how loa works . even if you have what you think is the most absurd assumption , if you stick to it , that is what will happen in your reality . you may still see a blue sky , but if you go " no , the sky is actually red " , then that is what will now be true & what you perceive .

although the time of it " appearing " in your reality may differ , i like to blame that on the fact that our brains are silly and we try to make sense of assumptions which causes the difference in how you end up perceiving the assumption ( elaborated below ) . but at the end of the day , know this : reality ( 3d , in loa talk ) will , and always will , simply reflect your assumption ( 4d ) back to you .

that statement isn't to blame you — obviously , we all want our assumption to translate directly into our reality instantly !

but it's human , for lack of a better term & because that is the meat flesh we are inhabiting right now , to go back and forth and attempt to think things through , which then causes our assumptions to change .

i myself am an indecisive person , and sometimes through debating whether or not i truly want something , my assumption goes from " i have that " to a muddled mess of " i have that ... no i don't because i don't want it ... no i do have that cos i want it ,, or do i ? " ( basically a long , spiralling mess of my assumptions changing constantly till i land on whatever ... )

other times , i end up hyperfocusing to the point that i freak out that reality " isn't " showing me signs of confirmation ( girl i'm making shit up in my head out of anxiety & doubt ) , which then changes my assumption to one where i do not have said thing , which then reflects in my reality .

at the end of the day , there are lots of nuances that pop up when we apply loa to our lives here , and though i can write a post for each of the different nuances that i experience in hopes of helping others who go through the same thing , the main point is that loa always stays the same . if you assume something , that's what your reality will reflect .

so yeah , if you find yourself overcomplicating things , or spiralling because " things aren't working out " , etc. , just remember that loa doesn't change . go back to the basics . don't overcomplicate things for yourself . you got this <3

Shifting is not caused, achieved, the end of a marathon, it’s not some gold medal you get once you’ve put in all the work.

Shifting is realizing that YOU are your dr. It’s not separate, like you have to turn to the other page of a book to continue the story. Shifting is on the same page of the book you’re reading.

You are the only evidence you’ll ever get for shifting. You are the proof. The change. The miracle you’ve been waiting for, it’s already yours. You don’t have to do anything. You’ve arrived. You don’t have to feel, affirm, or trigger it. Stop waiting for it to happen. Shifting is a natural continuation of life, and when you keep looking for a change you don’t believe in, you won’t find it. Stop looking for a change that’s already happened. You’re looking to open a door that leads to a different room, but it’s been the room you’ve been searching for all along. Let it be done. Move on and relax knowing you’re at the end.

So, no, you don’t “trigger” a shift by doing something. You become something first, and what you are is what objectifies.

i haven’t told anyone in my drs that i shifted there or that i’m a shifter or anything about shifting. no one knows i do it irl, and if i’m being honest i don’t rlly have any desire to talk about it to people irl, mostly bcos i don’t feel like explaining it or anything like that, and it’s kinda the same way in my drs. like my blog is my outlet to talk about it, if i couldn’t i’d be fine yk? i don’t feel like it’s a secret i’m keeping or anything that’s worth bringing up for me. it’s just a thing yk. like i don’t go up to everyone and announce every time i just used the bathroom. or send out an email to notify everyone about every breath i take. and in the same way, i don’t mention shifting, bcos rlly there’s no point for me !! i don’t think it would benefit me or anyone else in any way LMAO
