AN14 RECAP ( ^ q ^ )

It was so spectacular seeing so many jojos around! The cosplay shoot was really fun, and some great people showed up including a few you may know from around (ex. the amazing jonathanjoester, monsieurjaune, magicaljojo to name a few) More photos can be found in full potato quality here.

My only regret is missing the YowaPeda cosplayers on saturday who purportedly, if the rumors are true, showed up on actual street bikes (!!!) I probably completely confused enough people by asking for photos decked out in full sweet lolita though HEH

also help me, I can't escape the charming trap that is KnB cosplayers

Recently, I woke up one morning and couldn’t see through my right eye, so that’s been taking up quite a bit of time recently, haha. Good news is it isn’t a stroke or neurological damage as far as they can tell, but I’m headed to a hospital downtown tomorrow to see a specialist to figure out what the heck’s happened.

Going through the ER a while ago was my first time as an adult-ish person, and I got really inappropriately excited to be sorted through triage haha

Anyways until I learn how to do things a little more one-eye'dly, or it gets better, I’m gonna be kinda slow at producing stuff. Apologies!

I’m still here creepin’ on my dash though so I’ll see (sort of) you all around hehe :’)

AW YE what's up?? It's completely 2014 and I didn't even say hi!

Did you all have fun and get hopelessly smashed? That was my plan for the drop, but I kinda ended up in karaoke somehow instead, and totally missed the countdown to midnight |||Orz

I meant to post a bit earlier, but yesterday I went to see Grave of the Fireflies at TIFF, and basically lost the will to live.

It was my first time seeing it. So totally unprepared. I started crying right from the get-go and only stopped for around 10 minutes at a time.Setsuko is eating candies? I'm crying. Seita and Setsuko are catching fireflies? I'm crying. Setsuko has dysentery? Still crying.

Gut rending sadness due to anime aside, I wanted to say thanks to everyone who's come along with me for these first two months- I'm so happy to meet you!! It took me a long time to muster the courage to make a blog, let alone not delete it right away, so I'm really glad that I could start to get to know so many cute and kind people. 2013 was a really melancholic year for me, and I let myself be defeated in a lot of ways. But now I feel like I have the energy to get back to loving things the way I used to.
