-았/었을 것 같다

–았/었을 것 같다 is added to a stem to guess the past or a completed action. 

-았/었을 것 같다 is similar to -것 같다  but refers to past or completed conditions. 

Examples: 

그 사람은 머리가 좋아서 학교 다닐 때 공부를 잘했을 것 같아요.  

He/She (that person) is smart so I guess s/he must have had good grades in school. 

출반한 1 시간이 지났으니까 지금쯤이면 집에 도착했을 것 같아요. 

It has been over 1 hour since he/she left so I think s/he must have arrived home by now. 

김 과장님이 퇴근했을 것 같아요. 내일 연락합시다. 

Mr. Kim must have already left for the day. Let’s contact him tomorrow. 

*notice that 것 같아요 is still in the present*
