Hi JAG friends... As time passes, it's sad how many older sites and fanfic pages are no longer around. Even since I started this blog a few years ago, many have disappeared. I am working on updating dead links with archive.org links in my recs tag, although it will take some time to get to them all.

I also have a new page to share, for collecting major JAG fic links (both active and inactive), as well as other jag link collections, so that others looking for JAG fic have some launching points for their research expeditions. i need both of them struggling with their respective daddy issues and worrying over how they'll be as parents, and reassuring each other

i need harm pining after mac because of course he was always going to keep his promise, but he just wishes mac wanted the baby *and* him, not just a baby. and they'll always be friends, if nothing else the past eight years have proven that, but eventually mac will find someone she actually loves and he doesn't know how he's survive the rest of his life being part of her life but not really in her life. raising a kid while pining after mac for twenty plus years isn't fair to mac or the kid, but he's never been able to say no to mac and deep down, despite everything, he still wants a kid with her more than his next breath

i need mac pining after harm and wondering why he's so adamant about fulfilling their deal when he clearly doesn't want her, except she knows about his overdeveloped sense of honor better than anyone so really she should have expected this, and she feels guilty because it feels like taking advantage of him but she's not strong enough to turn him down. he has always been the man she wanted as the father for her children, and that's still true even if he can't love her

i need insane amounts of UST. i need harm insisting on giving mac footrubs and backrub. i need harm falling in love with mac all over again while she obsesses over which dino-themed baby toys the kid needs. i need mac shoving down the pregnancy hormones when harm shows up at her doorstep ready to cook whatever the baby is craving that day.

Do you have a masterlist of good authors somewhere I could take a look at? Right now I'm basically paging through Legacies just trying every story lol. Thank you again!!

Thanks for the ask! So glad you are enjoying the blog.

I do have some saved stories (and posted many of my favorites!), but I don't feel like the best person to curate a masterlist. My taste was not totally mainstream when it came to JAG fic - I always leaned a little towards Mac's side in the Harm vs. Mac wars, and the military themes were always less important than the relationship to me. So there were a lot of popular stories that didn't quite make it onto my personal list, but others might love.

If there's something specific you're looking for, send me a message! There's a chance I may be able to help.

Thank you so much!! I'm a Harm gal but I'm totally with you on the military themes not mattering quite as much. Especially when it comes to H/M :)

I've been able to find a lot on the wayback machine and FFN and I'm not sure if I'm looking for anything specific. I guess I'm curious if there are good/popular authors whose fics were deleted/are not available on wayback? And if so, I would definitely be interested in finding some copies of those fics haha.

No worries, there's no such thing as time here!

I can't think of anything that will give you a more complete list of authors than say, the archived Between the Lines site. But there were definitely a few popular and prolific authors back then who did not post to archives and kept it on their own sites. I want to say that there was a Barb, and a Serena maybe? That doesn't seem like much help. Maybe something like this?

There were a few major places that I read JAG fic that aren't around anymore in a meaningful way, like the voy message boards* and yahoo groups. JAG was huge on yahoo groups. I've never looked into the newsgroups to see if there was anything there.
