however, they always teach me huge lessons with the annoyance that typically benefit me. & that’s priceless.

leo teaches me that your greatest strength is also your greatest weakness. without balance, you will fall. attention matters not when you’ve been removed from the stage due to a poor attitude & spirit.

gemini teaches me that moving quickly is fun until you trip & break your legs. now, the same people you tried to lap are the ones at your bedside. the same speed you once maintained now has to be restored with the time you wouldn’t take.

sag teaches me that your optimism can betray you. sometimes you benefit more from calling it like you see it & cut your losses.

rather than being forced to acquiesce in a situation you hate OR being forced to leave a situation you hate.

signs as animals! VIRGO/LION

perfection. masterful. wise. the king of the jungle has been the king of the jungle (seemingly) forever. can you imagine the long line of information that is stored in their bones? it cannot escape. the strength and cool required to rule an entire kingdom. the effortlessness afforded due to having paid attention to every detail. they are one with the habitat. anything that comes their way, they can handle that.

everybody loves them (right?) and let’s be honest, they are so cool. v rare. & ironically, you must go “down under” to find them. they require a certain air to live. they need freedom & space to just be. like leo, you attract them more the less you look at them. and lucky for kangaroos, you can’t see them everywhere even if you wanted to. they move at their own, unique pace in a special way. female kangaroos nurse their babies in a pouch. they know warmth very intimately. they learned closeness before sight.

have you ever seen a bird’s nest? practically impenetrable. the nest depends on the life that is given to the tree to stand. however, it has been woven so intricately into it that it becomes one with it. much like a cancer with the tide. it is one with it. birds communicate for all to hear. especially when they want love. also when they just wanna share some love. they are likely to abandon a nest if harassed or bothered at all. cancers can be similar. they will evolve their space (& themselves) but they are the home they seek. they are the home they will always find.

it’s the most fascinating thing to watch a chameleon change colors. I think the same grace could be extended to gemini. gemini has the GIFT of adaptability. they know how to get in where they fit in, even if they don’t! you see them & know that they have lived so many different lives. they have seen so many different things. they have been questioned & overlooked. admired & envied. they are the embodiment of the good & the bad. few things are more fulfilling than being completely yourself. but sometimes your safety depends on your ability to change.

just the most beautiful thing you ever did see. & you can never put your finger on exactly what it is about them. trying to figure it out would be disrespectful. no seriously, touch a peacock (physically or energetically) without permission & you’ll regret it. it all depends on how much (& what kind) of energy you bring. just appreciate them. they truly deserve it. no one ever talks about the pressure of all eyes being on you. on being charged with being beautiful & pleasant. peacocks are the birds that you sometimes forget are birds because they are simply in a league of their own. & can also kick your ass if you do too much. :)

signs as animals! ARIES/SQUIRREL

probably one of my favorite animals, squirrels are so intuitive. and quick! when I’m driving, I always wonder why squirrels just dart out into the road. they see danger, but they prepare for it. they time & align their LITERAL LIFE with it. & most make it comfortably to the other side. you’ll likely experience more anxiety WATCHING a squirrel move than they do by just being. the way they hoard their food for the winter is also very impressive. they can feel what is coming next & their every move is preparing for the next. always preparing (& ready) for war/battle.
