im a big fan of baldurs gate 3, im in love with Karlach and have to fight the urge to romance her in every campaign😭 so far, i've completed an embrace durge run and 2 regular tav runs, and i'm currently doing a resist durge run and a Karlach origin run! (feel free to ask me anything about what choices i made on my runs or if you just want to chat with me about baldurs gate in general!)
expedition 33 is another game i've been playing nonstop! my favourite character is Maelle/Alicia(or Sciel..they always switch😭) and i would absolutely love to talk to anyone about e33 if you're interested!
attack on titan has my heart and it always will❤️🩹 Armin is my #1 alongside Hange, ofc! my favourite season is s3 but my favourite opening is either red swan or boku no sensou! i love eruri....
yellowjackets is a show that has the best first two seasons but went downhill in season 3...but that doesn't mean i don't love the show and the chatacters any less!! my favourite is Shauna (she's just misunderstood, i can fix her) and as much as i'm dreading season 4, i'm excited to be able to relax on the sofa after school on a friday and watch a new episode with my mum and sister!
i've been playing so much final fantasy 7 at the moment, im surprised im not having dreams about it...i love Aerith with all my heart and Cloud is literaly the cutest!
dragon age is another one!! i've only played inquisition and veilguard atm but i will be getting around to origins and 2 soon..💔my favourites are Leliana, Josephine, Neve, Harding and Davrin and in inquisition, i romanced Josephine and in veilguard, i romanced Davrin!
hereee we go with my embrace durge, Evrin and some of the thought process and story behind her intimidating looks...👀 (there may be some edits to this if i remember anything that i forgot!!)
let's start with the thought process and how i wanted her to look!
i wanted to make all the colours on her face quite dull as an attempt to make her seem a bit more lifeless and menacing(?) i wanted to make it kinda obvious that she doesn't exactly feel much, especially from the muted colours her eyes are rather than bright red.
i was SO glad to find a mod that had a face with both severe scarring and constantly angry looking eyebrows because i wanted to portray that, albeit she doesn't feel much at all, she can at least still feel that anger and selfishness that is just naturally in her blood from being a devoted bhaalspawn. (more about her scarring in her story!)
i'd like to think that her hair is either always really greasy or has a really unpleasant straw like texture because her looks are the least of her problems so she doesn't really care for her haircare that much especially since it's so long because she doesn't bother cutting it too. (more about her hair in her story!)
finally, to the part we have all been waiting for...her story! what she's like, where she got her scars and why she's such a terrible person.
starting with her scars... the huge scar across the right side of her face and ear is from whenever she has fits of anger and scratches and rips her face when a plan of hers doesnt go as planned or if she just simply sees something she doesn't particularly like. the smaller scar across the left of her face if from a petty fight with orin over the slayer form which ended with orin slicing her face open before she managed to get away. Evrin ended up getting the slayer form later on anyways.
her eyes! obviously her eyes are red because she is a lolth-sworn drow but i wanted to make them darker, like i said in the thought behind her looks, to make her more lifeless. you may be wondering why one eye is grey..well! she reluctantly let Volo attempt to get the tadpole out of her eye but when he failed and gave her the prosthetic eye, she obviously got a bit angry and killed him in a similar way she killed Alfira (but on purpose this time) and decided to hide the body before anyone noticed.
onto her hair, like i said in the thought process section, it's either very greasy or very straw like because of the abismal (lack of) care she has for her hair. the faint dark red in her hair is often blood stains from fight getting a bit messy or from when she rubs victims/enemies blood in her hair as a sort of trophy for killing them
although you can't see them, her teeth are sharp! but they aren't like that naturally because when other bhaalspawn committed cannibalism infront of her as a child, she decided that her regular teeth just wouldn't cut it so she decided to file them down with whatever she could find to make them sharper so she would be able to easily tear through skin, meat and other things. another reason she did this was because she always wants to be better than everyone at everything so that meant that being able to easily bite through skin would make her instantly better than all the other bhaalspawn.
for the part i'm most excited for...her personality!
Evrin is veryy persistent when it comes to something she wants. if someone says no then she will keep going on and on and on until they say yes. she always has to be right otherwise she has a huge fit and threatens to hurt herself or other people so obviously, she hates being wrong. she often threatens people and attempts to attack them if they claim that something she said is wrong or if they said something that doesn't line up with what Evrin is okay with (which isn't much when it comes to other people).
she will do anything if it benefits her. she will manipulate people, kill people, sleep with people (she mostly sleeps with people for thr thrill of it- not because she develops feelings for anyone)
if someone was to bring up the way she is, she instantly turns it onto them. blaming them for everything that happened to her and if that person had someone close to them die, of course she's gonna bring that up and blame them for it.
Evrin doesnt feel anything other than what a devoted bhaalspawn like her is supposed to feel- anger, the desire to constantly feel any sort of thrill and the need to kill. she doesn't feel anything for her companions. she just sees a bunch of new toys to play with.
her relationship with Minthara. when Evrin first met Minthara in the goblin camp, she instantly knew that a lot of fun was waiting for her. the second that Minthara showed that little bit of vulnerability the night they had slept together at the goblin party, Evrin already had a whole plan to mess with her feelings and eventually kill her in the end. Evrins relationship with Minthara was purely for thrills and a scheme just so that she wouldn't be bored.
