Time to start living again.
Since Tom’s death Stella had been all over the place, she went through a stage where she started spending money on anything and everything despite the fact she could not afford any of it. Luckily most of the stuff was able to be returned and the house she’d bought and could not afford was soon sold again as I it was a beautiful house with a amazing view, what ever she could not take back she sold and got as much money for it as possible. After all that Stella knew she had to start dealing with the death of her husband and let herself feel every painful emotion that came with grief, other wise she’d never get better and her children did not need anything else to worry about. Stella had been doing pretty well the past month or so but she’d only stuck around family and people she knew, it was time to get back out there and live again, and the family BBQ the hospital her son worked at was holding was the perfect way to do that.
Arriving at Forest Park Stella started to walk around and See if she could find any faces she recognized, Apart from her son and Amelia the only other person she knew here was Meredith Grey as the two of them had become very close in the time they’d known one another, Stella knew a lot of the doctors James worked with by name but did not know too much about there personal lives. She was hoping to see James, Amelia or Meredith or at least find someone her own age to talk to.
James spotted his mom walking towards the BBQ area and he waved at her, grateful that him and Amelia would have his mom around to help with the girls if things got too hard. He smiled and kissed her cheek. “Hey momma, how’re you doing?” He asked, leading her to where Emma and Maddie lay on a picnic blanket with Amelia.

Not really, there's just a lot of tension. It's like she doesn't think I know what I'm doing around the girls and I feel like it's building up towards a big argument.

Yeah that tends to happen. You just feel like you need every little thing in the house including a ton of clothes! Haha
