Boring but likely true answer: Nikki is a millennial woman and as someone who has been on tumblr since the early 2010s there was a very specific type of like “girlboss” “eyeliner sharp enough to kill a man” breed of feminism that was rampant here and while not necessarily bad (I kinda miss when people at least pretended to care about women) I don’t think the majority of women reblogging or posting that type of stuff were truly like dominating their straight boyfriends irl. I guess we can dream though. Zach probably just didn’t take it that seriously or thought it was funny idk. I don’t know these people
