Winter Voicemail Across the Bridge of Magpies

It's been a hot minute, but I wrote another fiction piece on Vocal Media! This was based on 2 different stories I heard about in 2 different Discord servers, and contains as many anime and hallyu cultural references as I could reasonably cram into a story about a a holiday season voicemail. I chose to integrate chunks of the voicemail message in with the main character's thoughts to make for a more interesting read. Was supposed to publish this 2 weeks ago in time for the Qixi festival (referred to in the story as Tanabata), but I was busy with real-life stuff.
