i want to yap so here are my thoughts on meta glasses

for the most part, EEEEEEEEWWWW. so many people record random strangers without their consent or knowledge, mainly men going up to random girls on the street to “rizz them up”. they are also likely a form of surveillance where The Evil Rich People can have cameras everywhere. if someone is recording, there will be a flashing light, but people have found ways to hide that light and still secretly record them. i don’t have much to say about them, i just really don’t like them. or the people on tiktok using them. however!!!!

i have seen them used as great mobility aids!!! i have seen a blind mother use them to go grocery shopping so it can read her the labels, and i’ve seen people with hearing issues using the closed captions option to have conversations with people who can’t sign.

i do not like meta. i do not like those weird glasses at all. but the idea itself is amazing as a mobility aid. let me know your thoughts!! ❤️
