I think romancing Minthara as a bard makes so much sense cuz

1. The Spider's Lyre. She gifts it to you if you raid the grove (soooo cute), and if you knock her out and take it, it still looks dope

2. She's canonically the most funny person we know, and who else is funny? A bard.

3. It's funny to see this tanky, big smiting Oath of Vengeance Paladin fall in love with A silly little guy™ (gender neutral). Maybe they can teach her how to enjoy parties!

4. If you talk with her about the Baldur's Mouth Gazette being propaganda, she remarks at the power of words and how they can be even more powerful than weapons. Guess who knows Vicious Mockery and Dissonant Whispers...

5. Her VA Emma Gregory said Minthara's speaking patterns were inspired by Shakespeare, since she loves Shakespeare and theatre. Writer Adam Smith (I think) was also inspired by Emma's work and reflected that in the script. Very bardcore

Uh oh, she fell for the scary drow lady!

When you meet Minthara and she probes your mind, I wondered what she would see if she looked in Reynili's mind? I learned bee dee es em is popular in drow culture... And she's a freaky little bard with mommy issues. Seeing Minthy was like seeing the stars for the first time!

I have a whole Minthara x Reynili story rewrite where Minthara finds out the gang has the Artifact, but the Artifact is also protecting her (like in the game; that happens if you raid the grove). Reynili knocks her out and takes her to camp cuz she feels bad for her, realizing she's being used as a pawn, so Minthara is kinda recruited in Act 1. She can't hear the Absolute anymore, and is super mad, but the gang asks her to take them to Moonrise. And she intended to betray them and basically deliver the artifact to her boss's door, until he turns on her!

I'm making more comics with my Bg3 Tav, Reynili the bard! This is before the game, where she's traveling around the surface for the first time playing small gigs and finding how lonely it is to be away from home. No one gets her humor 😔

Hi. I just wanted to say that you are one of my favorite fan artists and I missed seeing you at Anime Pasadena this year. Anyway, I saw your comment on Blusky and I don't know if you're into fan fiction but there's a couple of good Giomis AO3 writers on here and one of them just started a discord. Hope you have more fun here than you are at the other socials lately.
