Hello Everyone, my name is Janelly, a unique name by combining the names of my aunt JANE-t and my mother Li-LLY. I graduated with an Associate in Arts, Bachelor in Science and a Master in Public Administration. I have worked in many fields but my heart was always in travel and seeing the world. As a child, being raised by a single mother, I did not get the opportunity to do so but now I can. I found a way to live my dreams and bring others with me. It is a great feeling to finally make memories, go on a 7-day cruise, and actually go on a vacation.

This blog is meant to Share My Story, Open Your Eyes, Speak Now Instead of Forever Holding My Peace, and Live My Life… Before it is tooo late.

As human beings, we tend to take advantage, use, mentally abuse, physically drain, judge and demand so much for our Loved Ones.  At the same time, we tend to love, care, embrace, hug, kiss, need, and want the very BEST for our Loved Ones.  Your Loved Ones are the ONLY Ones that make you feel the HAPPIEST and can cause the most Pain, even within seconds.  We know and have all experienced this to and from our loved ones.

I do not Love and Trust easily but when I do, they become my Loved Ones, the only ones that can affect my emotions.  Multiple Times in what seems to be a Very Cheerful, Carefree, Traveling with Family and Friends, Always Smiling, #JanellySaidYes Life, I have been down, depressed, contemplating my last breath, cannot smile, cannot please my loved ones and very tired of trying. NOTHING WORKS.

I always lived my life with what eveyone thought was best for me.  When I did rebel younger, I got in a terrible car accident with friends that are not even around anymore.  I thought accomplishing tasks and living my life for others will please everyone, I will be happy, WRONG.  Now I am overwhelmed, overqualified for some jobs with a masters, under qualified for some jobs without experience, have loans, getting slowly pushed out of my room, being treated as someone who is not trying, while at the same time trying my hardest to find work and stay busy. With that being said, I am overwhelmed, constantly crying about small things, body changing constantly, feeling like useless with my whole life being a waste and everyone will be better without me.  Seasons come and go, as I feel I should have in my 2006 accident.  

That is my crisis, my story and hopefully by sharing my story, I can be a resource to others.  Please STOP taking advantage, using, mentally abusing, physically draining, judging and demanding so much for your Loved Ones. Please START Loving, Caring, Embracing, Hugging, Kissing, Needing, and Wanting the very BEST for one another. Most importantly, LISTEN! Many are crying for Help, many are committing suicide, many are over drinking, and engaging in careless dangerous acts, many are being brushed off.

America Dream Or American Joke??

Is this the American Dream Or the American Joke?

An American businessman stood at the pier of a small coastal Caribbean village when a small boat of just one fisherman docked.  Inside the boat were several large yellow fin tuna. The American complimented the Fisherman on the quality of his fish and asked how long it took to catch them. 

The fisherman replied, "only a little while."

The American them asked,  "Why don't you stay out longer and catch more fish?"

The fisherman answered,  "I have enough to support my family's immediate needs."

The businessman them asked,  "But what do you do with the rest of your time?" 

The fisherman answered, "I sleep late, fish a little, play with my children, take a siesta with my wife,  stroll into the village each evening where I sip wine and play guitar with my friends. I have a full and busy life,  sir."

The American scoffed, "I am a Harvard M.B.A. and I can help you.  You should spend more time fishing, and with the income buy a bigger boat.  With the proceeds from the bigger boat you could buy several boats, and eventually you would own a fleet of fishing boats.  Instead of selling your catch to middlemen, you could sell directly to the processor and eventually open your own cannery. You would control the product, processing and distribution. You would need to leave this small coastal fishing village and move to Mexico City, then L.A. and eventually New York City where you will run your expanding enterprise."

The fisherman asked, "But sir how long will this all take?" 

The American replied, "15-20 years"

The fisherman pressed on, "But then what, sir?"

The American laughed and said, "That's the best part! When the time is right you would announce an IPO and sell you're company stock to the public and become very rich --- you would make millions."

The fisherman continued to press on, "Millions, sir? Then what?"

"Then you can retire. Move to a small coastal fishing village where you can  sleep late, fish a little,  play with your kids,  take a siesta with your wife, stroll to the village each evening where you sip wine and play your guitar with your friends."

I was sharing my lifestyle with a new acquaintance. She was always interested in traveling with a passport ready but no one to travel with or idea of where to go first. Being the adventurous-ready-to-travel-and-get-discounts-anytime-of-year type of person I am, I told her LET’S GO! The Chicago Cubs last World Series appearance was in 1945, 71 years ago.
