Being your oldest brother, Jesus has always been a beacon of strength towards you and your other siblings. Long before His ministry started, He was there for you throughout your shared childhood years.
You were the youngest of the bunch, making Jesus even more protective over you.
You are definitely there during all the key moments in His ministry right from the get go. You were present from when He was baptised by your cousin John right up until the point that the Last Supper was about to begin.
Being a woman, you couldn’t join the men during this traditional meal, sharing one with the other ladies instead. However, you felt that something had been immensely off with Jesus these past days, that He was dreading something to come.
And every bit of sorrow and fright turned out to be completely valid; That night, He was arrested by the Roman authorities with the help of the Pharisees and someone you thought you could trust: Judas of Kerioth.
Whereas everyone initially fled, you were swept up in the chaos and Simon Peter led you to safety against your own intuition.
“No! Let me go, Peter, I need— I need to go to Him!”
“Can’t you see, (Y/n)?! You’ll get yourself killed!”
“I don’t care! I don’t care!”
You manage to break free, but cannot find Jesus anymore after that, deciding to follow the crowd instead.
You find your mother and the other women in a state of unbridled panic, and you try to comfort eema Mary to your best ability, even though you are struck with fear as well.
Of course, Mary had always told you and your brothers and sisters that Jesus’ birth was meant for a purpose you wouldn’t comprehend until it was there, and now that it is occurring at last, you are still paralysed and uncertain of what might happen.
That night, and the day that follows, you don’t leave your mother’s side for one minute, comforting her as you just hold each other, weeping and grieving when Jesus is sentenced to death by crucifixion.
At Golgotha, after a long and dreadful road of suffering, your oldest brother and Saviour is nailed to the wooden beam of which the smell must remind Him of home.
Tears streak down your face, but you try to not fully break down, not wanting to lose your grip on reality. You have to be there for your mother now, but Jesus will not completely abandon you with that task.
As He hangs there, battered and bruised, Jesus whispers you over, as well as your eema and John the Beloved.
“Woman, here is your son.” And to John, “Here is your mother.” Then, the younger son of Zebedee nods, knowing what these words mean. He must take care of Mary now, and by extension, take care of you.
A few minutes before Jesus gives up His Spirit, you stand at the foot of the cross.
“Jesus,” you whisper softly, and somehow, He can hear you, “Was I a good sister?”
He gives you a watery smile through the pain. “The best I could have wished for. Now, be a sister to My followers, too. They will need you, as will our sweet eema.”
The words touch you deeply, and you make Him a promise.
“I will,” you whisper, “I love You.”
“I love you, too.”
You step away and watch with the others until Jesus offers up His Spirit in the Father’s hands, and passes on.
When Mary of Magdalene claims to have seen Him risen a few days later, you don’t doubt her for even a second, instantly knowing that Jesus is alive.
Your reunion is intimate and sweet, where you simply throw yourself around His neck as you sob out your eyes. He holds you gently and kisses your temple.
“You’ve been so strong, My sister. I’m proud of you.”

Okay, so I find that it seems to be widely accepted among the fanbase (for the most part) that Obi-Wan Kenobi is “Space Jesus”. And I can understand why, scruffy long hair, robes, often wandering around the desert, but…
I have a counter argument.
See, Obi-Wan does fit in a generic sense, and don’t get me wrong, he’s a great character and I love him; he deserves hugs and all the high ground because he’s doing his best, but! I would like to present; Qui-Gon Jinn.
All the same categories are filled, of course: Long scruffy hair, beard, robes, wanders in deserts. But there is one key element that puts it over the top for me:
Liam Neeson.
He’s got that deep, wise Mentor/guide voice. And at the end of Phantom Menace *spoilers* he dies saving his friends (kinda). And what does this man do after he’s killed off in star wars in 1999? Well, very roughly about 3 years later, around 2002-2003, what should begin production but Narnia: The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe? And Liam Neeson voiced Aslan…
Guys. Seriously. Liam Neeson went from playing “Space Jesus” to LITERALLY PLAYING GOD! How has the internet missed out on the opportunity that is this joke??? I am disappointed in all of you! I almost couldn’t take him seriously in Clone Wars because I just kept picturing Aslan and now Qui-Gon is just entirely Space Jesus.
And as the final nail in the coffin, honest to Qui-Gon Jinn, I think most fangirls/boys aren’t thinking the most wise and holy thoughts when looking at Obi-Wan. Let’s be real guys, Daddy-Wan Kenobi is a title I’ve heard thrown around more than once. Y’all are just thirsty.
