The comeback was comming to an end which was something bittersweet to Jangmi since the packed schedule was finally out, well as out as it could be for an idol, yet also the time with her girls was, which made her heart feel heavier than usual. It wasn’t as if they didn’t see each other while they weren’t on comeback season but it was a bit harder to meet when everyone had their own schedule so Jangmi was happy for times where it was just them, like in the old times, hanging out in one of the girl’s apartments or, like that time, on the waiting room for their performance.
“I’m thinking about dying my hair for next comeback...” Jangmi said before chuckling at her own words, they weren’t even finished with this one yet she was already thinking of the future but it was with a reason, it seemed still so far to become reality anytime soon and truth was, even if she wanted to do it, it kind of scared her since she had never gone beyond turning her black hair a light brown. “I was thinking of pink...what do you think? would it suit me?” Jangmi asked Shinhye since she was the one with more experience and the light purple that colored her hair suited her.
HYEMIN CAN’T REMEMBER THE LAST TIME HE’S BEEN GIVEN A DAY OFF. Even though he knows he can reach out to people to hang out and unwind, he still feels like an unwanted bother. It seems kind of rude to him to complain about busy schedules, considering that some people didn’t have as many opportunities as him. It’s why he tends to hang out with his dog on days like this. After a few blocks around the neighborhood, it seems like Ggomi has tired out, panting and slowing down. Hyemin wonders if this is the perfect timing to grab a cup of coffee, a sweet start to his early day.
Before he can give a second thought, ggomi’s already running towards another person. “Ggomi wait!” he shouts out, running without the leash in his hand. When he can catch his breath, he finally looks up and sees the familiar person. “Hey, long time no see! I didn’t think Ggomi would find you before I could manage to see you.” Hyemin bit his bottom lip worriedly. It had been his fault for not reaching out first, something he felt kind of guilty about, and he wonders if the person had been offended.
Aria’s schedule had been quite packed with their comeback and now that they were preparing for queendom things didn’t seem like they were going to slow down any time soon, not that Jangmi minded since it was a good sign that the group, even if it was an old one it was still relevant and people wanted to hear them, and that was amazing. But as any other human being, the female got tired and needed days to cool off, days away from the pressure and the thight schedules and luckily that’s what they had gotten, at least for a couple of hours, the group had a small break to do as they pleased before returning with new energy. That was the time of the calm before the storm and she was going to enjoy that time as much as she could
After leaving the small cafe shop with a coffee and a brownie, the girl was on her way to a park she had seen near by on her way to the cafe earlier that day, if she was going to spend most of her days for the rest of her month either locked on the practice room or filling her schedules, she might aswell enjoy the sun upon her skin during that time. She had been lost on her own thoughts when she was surprised by Ggomi, an instant smile growing on her face at the sight. “Hello Hyemin” She greeted happily while carrying everything on her right hand so she could pet the dog. She chuckled at his words. “Oh that’s my fault since i’ve been busy with our comeback , you know how that gets!” Jangmi smiled. “I actually was only planning to rest, eat this unhealthy muffin and then enjoy my day on the park or something...and you?”

Whoa, is that SONG JANGMI? I love her! She’s the LEAD DANCER AND VOCAL of ARIA, and she’s a ‘95 LINER! She’s one of my favorites under GOLD STAR MEDIA. Don’t you think she looks a little like KIM JIYEON (BONA)?
Jangmi didn’t have being an idol as her dream, the thought had never even crossed her mind when she was young.
She has always been adressed as the Pretty/Beautiful girl, her visuals even predebut have been praised. (Bona is so freaking gorgeous, right? right! glad we agree) One would think that would make someone quite conceited but Rose is far from one simply because she doesn’t believe it.
it was during a school event that she was scouted at the age of 13 by a small company.
At first she thought it was a scam and said no thanks but mr was very persistent and she ended up agreeing.
the truth was that she was scouted as an actress and not an idol yet after almost year before she found something she wanted to do aswell. Between having idol trainees as close friends and seeing what they were taught, the girl wanted to be an idol.
her company refused the change without giving her a chance to prove herself, hurtful things where said that day to the young girl about how she depended only on her visuals as her only. stong point.
jangmi took a train back home that day and cried on her parents’ arms yet she returned to the company with her parents behind her, backing her up in the demand of the termination of the contract.
The whole process was a month long but she used it wisely, taking singing classes and learning coreographies by herself on her room until she was a freelancer and could audition for other companies.
Another month or so after she auditioned for goldstar and was accepted.
she was selected to debut on the next girl group a year and some months later, a soft concept that fitted her visuals and vocals.
Ever since debut she has always be the one who recieves negative comments about her being only a visual with no talent, how she is there only bc of her pretty face and such. They judge her for her face, never for her talent and it didn’t stop when goldstar pushed her towards acting since she was the first member to appear on dramas and now fans and antis claimmed it was bc of her pretty face and such. (;-;)

Rose was terribly late, she knew that. The idol hadn’t thought that there would be such traffic on her way to the amusement park. With her hair down, a cap and a mask the girl made her way to the entrance before spotting the younger boy she was coming with. Pulling her mask down a little the girl smiled at him once she was near enough “I’m so sorry for being late. Traffic was terrible but now I’m here...where should we start?” She asked grinning happily.
He sat perfectly still as she leaned forward to readjust his hair. At first his eyes watched her with playfulness, but his expression lessened a little the longer she lingered. His eyes watched her face almost carefully as if studying the way her brows arched when she smiled and the way her nose scrunched when she giggled. The lungs in his chest swelled and ached, angrily reminding him to breathe. When she pulled away, he drew in a slow breath through the guise of a chuckle and sat up straight as if to pose like the proud hurt-lost-puppy she had declared him to be.
“Bold of you to think that I would be embarrassed,” he mused with a deep voice and a sarcastic chuckle to add to it. He crossed his arms over his puffed out chest and rolled his eyes up as if consulting the gods for his answer.
He hummed and hawed a little too long to the point where he started to deflate and looked as though he was very seriously deliberating over his answer.
“Whichever is most honest for the person,” he decided with a smile. “Which are you, noona?” he asked with a quirk in his smile. “You look like a broken-lost-puppy, but something tells me you’ve got some bite.” he playfully poked her knee with his finger.
Jangmi laughed at his words and actions “Of course you wouldn’t” She spoke while chuckling. Either she was easily embarrassed or he found such topics to be quite common as he didn’t seem like it bothered him even a little. “But I will try my best today to get that reaction of you” She spoke with a playful tone “So be prepared”
The female stared at him, placing her chin against her hand once again as she did. Eyes sparkling with curiosity for his answer. His words surprising her as she tilted her head gently “So the answer would change depending on the person you like?” She asked before groaning “Yah! why you must turn it towards me once again” Jangmi spoke before chuckling at his words and the poke on her knee.
“of corse i do” She couldn’t help but giggle at her words, she knew it was a lie. “Though broken lost puppy...” Jangmi spoke as if she was in deep thought of her answer. “I think that one fits me the best” She added, after all the girl was more like a playful puppy as it was one of the main reasons the girl was part of aria.
“no, close the curtains please. it’s sunny outside.” ella didn’t even bother to open her eyes, or even lookup. curling her body up in a ball resting her body down on the softest surface she first set her eyes on. sporting an oversized black hoodie, leggings and socks.
“Come on darling, you need to get up” She spoke with a soft smile on her face as she followed the instructions and closed the curtains once again. “If you stay like that you will have the worst neck pain” Jangmi was sure she sounded like a mother right now with her soft voice and words. “But honestly it’s a beautiful day to go out.”
Taekyeong cackled when her nose scrunched and her cheeks noticeably turned a brighter shade of pink. His mouth curled into a mischievous smile while his tongue poked at the inside of his cheek
“No! Why would you think that?” he asked as he mimicked her nose wrinkle and also stuck out his tongue. However, the second she called him a meanie, his eyes widened and his mouth opened with a loud gasp. His hand dramatically shot up and clutched the material of his shirt over his heart and a very painful grunt burst out of his mouth.
“It hurts!” He wheezed as he very slowly and carefully draped himself over the lounge chair and groaned his fake last breath. After about a minute he shot back up in another fit of laughter that caused a couple more heads to turn, but he didn’t seem to notice or care.
“You really are a rose. Pretty and prickly!” He snorted and waved his hand. “I’m just joking.”
He leaned back to set his glass under his chair, hopefully out of harms way. He drew his legs up and crossed them while still leaning forward, mostly so he could hear Rose over the music and the crowd.
“Do you really think I fit the whole hurt-lost-puppy look, though?” he asked tilting his head to the left and right in the way that she had done before, while sticking out his bottom lip. His naturally wavy hair seemed to flop along with the gestures, undoubtedly adding to the soft appeal of a puppy, not unlike the King Spaniel he had showed her moments before.
“I wonder why” She spoke, her eyebrows raised as she spoke, words filled with playful sarcasm yet a smile followed after at his imitation of her expression only to giggle at his dramatic acting while watching him, trying hard not to burst into laughter. “Oh poor boy” She spoke playing along.
His words made the girl laugh harder, it was clever on her opinion and quite original since the gir had never been called a joke like that even if with a name like hers it was like begging for it. “Now you know the reason behind my name” She joked along before adding at his final words “I know.
Rose stared at him once more before giving a final nod, a smile spreading across her face “I do.” The girl said while looking at him carefuly as if to have a better look of him to evaluate her opinion “You have the look almost mastered I would say” She chuckled before leaning a bit closer to him and combing his hair while humming maybe to tease him, maybe to place it the way she liked either way a smile grew on her face as she did. “There it is” Jangmi spoke while giggling “The perfect hurt-lost puppy look...” Rose spoke while taking a final look at him “it suits you” She grinned before leaning back to her seat.
“I think I’ve been embarrassed enough in this conversation” A chuckle left her mouth before she found herself adding “Now it's my time to embarrass you with the same question” adding a wiggle of her eyebrows “So answer... what’s your type? Broken lost puppy or bad-girl type?”
“Right?” He laughed. “He’s a troublemaker though. He loves getting into things he’s not supposed to. He’s like a little brother. His name is Johnny.” He snorted. “Lame name, right? My parents named him.” He shruggedhis shoulders a little. The attention from dogs shifted to the empty glass inhis hand. His eyes darted between the two of them and realized just how fast hehad finished the drink. His brows shot high into his hairline and his mouthhung open in a gasping laugh.
“I completely forgot there was alcohol in this!” He broughtthe glass to his mouth and sniffed. “I can’t even smell any in it. Maybe thebartender gave me a- how do you say?” He dropped his phone into his lap andgestured his hands as he tried to search for the word in Korean. “A drink withno alcohol in it.” He laughed at himself, his ears felt hot with embarrassmentas he struggled to find the word. Eventually he gave up and waved the issueaway with his hand. “You get the idea.”
The older girl leaned forward and rested her chin in herhand as she gave him a skeptical look. He mimicked her, leaning forward anddrumming his fingers against his chin while his hooded eyes watched her withunabashed playfulness. “Looking at you like what?” he asked suddenly battinghis eyes. “Like what?” He leaned in a little closer and tilted his headplayfully to the side. “Like a gentlemanly puppy?”
A smile grew on her face while the female listened to him talk about his dog back home, giggles coming at the mention of the dog being a troublemaker and a little brother finding it adorable. “Oh no, it’s a lovely name.” She smiled before adding playfully “Plus i can pronounce it even if it’s in english so it’s cool” Chuckles could be heard after those words left her lips.
Her eyebrows raised in surprise to his words before listening to him carefully trying to understand what he wanted to say to help him find the right words, the girl was born and raised in Korea yet she could understand the struggle of trying to speak a language that wasn’t your native one and so she was trying her best to understand the word he was searching for before chuckling and nodding to show she got what he meant “I did, don’t worry.” She replied with a smile.
Jangmi watched him as he followed her actions before heat raised to her cheeks at his questioning of what she meant with her words. “You are making fun of me now, aren’t you?” She asked though her smile and actions made it clear that she was anything but serious about that question since she stuck her tongue out in playful banter “Meanie” She added before she smiled as she tried her best to imitate his look, innocent eyes and head tilted to the side gently, “Like this” She spoke.

“Thanks for coming along!” Seyeon’s eyes sparkled with mirth, making his smile almost visible in spite of the face mask hiding most of the bottom half of his face. “I could’ve come here alone but…” He returned his attention to the cat section of the pet shop, shoulders falling a little in distress at the wide range of choices. “It helps to have someone along so I don’t take three million years to make choices.” The dancer dug up his phone from his pocket and showed his company the lockscreen excitedly. “Look! That’s him! My cute soon-to-be feline son! His name is going to be Dimitri!” He bounced on the spot, excitement radiating from his form. “Sorry, I’m… a bit much right now. I know. I’ve just been waiting for this for a while now. If you want to you’re very welcome to stop by once he’s gotten used to his new home and give him head pats!”
Jangmi smiled while a set of giggles left her mouth as she followed the excited boy, her face hidden behind a cap and a mask yet her eyes smiled back at him or at least she thought he had smiled first. “It’s my pleasure Seyeon” The girl answered with a happy smile clear on her face. “Oh I totally understand you” She smiled at her words, plus having company was always better. Jangmi leaned closer to take a look at the lockscreen before her smile widened into a full grin from ear to ear “oh my gosh he is so cute! and i love the name” She answered truthfully while her brown orbs stared at the picture before moving to him “You can bet i will take that offer. So i will be waiting for him to be ready.”
Running behind the beautiful girl, Cindy grabbed ahold of her shoulder a bit too tightly. “I think you dropped this,” dangling a bright colored Popsicle earring, “actually I’m sure it’s yours…it matches your stage outfit perfectly.” She gestures to her attire, she wouldn’t mention how she also was watching Aria’s stage and saw her wearing these exact earrings. “Anyways, it looked delicate and I found it in the hallway and got worried.” Thank god heels make girls walk slower or Cindy probably wouldn’t have been able to find her in time for the final stage.
Jangmi smiled happily as she walked of the stage, clearly pleased with the result, the girl kept walking towards the comfort of the waiting room, wanting nothing more but to take off her heels that was until she heard a voice calling her, it was either her or one of her members, so she turned around to come face to face with Cindy.
Surpise was clear on her features as her hand flew to her ear finding the missing earing only then. “Oh thank you Cindy” She spoke while giving her a smile, formal tone gone as she adresed the fellow busan girl since they only debuted a year apart. “My stylist would have been so worried if i had lost it. Again thank you” She said before extending her hand to get her earing back.
