THE RETURN OF BEEBOP!!! >: D

Annndddd, I conjured up some lore for her finally. It’s based off of the Japanese folktale “The Jellyfish and The Monkey”. 🪼

Lore: There once was a beautiful lady, who was set out from her planet to venture out to find herself a lover, if she came back empty handed she would be turned into an outcast. Finally, after venturing for so long, she came across a handsome creature; she was determined he was the one, and so she gave him a strand of her hair (in their planet this was a symbol of their love); however this strand of hair was also very useful as it contained a strong power which was built off of love. This was what the creature was trying to obtain in the first place so as soon as he had attained it, the greedy creature fled from her. Upset, she returned back to her planet, hoping she would be assisted with another solution - she had hoped herself to be welcomed, but had forgotten that if she didn’t come back mated, she would have been outcasted. And that’s what they did. Not only was she outcasted, but she was stripped from her beautiful body, and reduced to a jellyfish.

Now this jellyfish, she gave birth to a beautiful child; and yet the jellyfish had no recollection of her own child or even anything so she swam away into space, waiting for something to happen, waiting to be redeemed.

The beautiful child grew up wandering space, years and years go by, she wanted answers: what is she? Why did she end up here? Why so alone?

Until eventually she stumbled upon her mother’s origin planet, others recognised her from her beauty which she inherited from her mother, especially the colours of her birthmark. She was sent away, warned that if she were to come back she would end up just like her mother. Upset, she stayed wandering space, not long after she found Earth in which she had made it her home. Everyone was so different, all of different species; she even came across her own kind. A male cat fish. Who goes by the name of Spacer.
