Unconditional Love

Dexter Head butts me so hard sometimes he almost knocks me over. I looked it up, because I have never had a cat do something like that, as much as he does, and this is what it said: "Head-Butts You: When a kitty head-butts you, it’s just his way of saying, “Greetings, I trust you and feel safe.” It’s also one of his methods of sharing facial pheromones with you. Behaviorists actually call this curious behavior "bunting." If your kitty doesn’t bunt, it’s nothing to worry about — he just might not be the head-butting type." 😻 I love that little/big guy so much...my heart melted when I read that. Unconditional love like that is the best feeling ever, I wish it was more common amongst human beings.

The worst feeling in the world...

Is feeling un-needed, and unwanted, especially by someone who says they love you and need you. Without action, these words have absolutely no meaning.

Learning to love yourself, inside and out, as you are, is a life long- process..It’s not easy, but its worth it..... As we get older, were are constantly evolving....we have good times and bad, we make mistakes…things that used to work no longer do...but in the process we grow stronger as human beings. Now that I am older, I have a lot of advice for my younger self, but I can’t go back and change things in the past…I can only learn from them, distinguish my strengths from my weaknesses, and do my best from there. I don't think its ever too late to do this, and to tilt the scales in your favor..Fall in love with yourself, if not for the first time, maybe after some trials and being down, learning to love yourself all over again; and all the pieces will fall in place from there eventually if you hang in. Some of us are later bloomers than others, and In my opinion you’re never too old to turn you life around, as well as do your best help others do the same. Trust me I’m living proof…and a work in progress, and plan on professing til the day I die. I'm in a perpetual mode of self-improvement. The only time we fail is when we stop trying.

People are complex. Some are easier to know than others. But once someone has made their mind up about you, and these days its done sight unseen...thru social media...they rarely change their point of view about you. Stop banging your head against the wall trying to change their minds and ask yourself how important these people are, to you future...your present, your life in general. I bet if you sit down and do this, you'll realize their opinion of you is just that~their opinion. Yes everybody has one. And no on ever died from someones negative opinion of them so stop worrying about what others are thinking or doing or NOT doing and focus on you. Those who don't do, or cant do, hate on those who can and are and its a behavior was old as time. So as you ascend in your career, school or other accomplishments get used to it. It gets worse thrust me. Take it as a compliment.

We are defined by our accomplishments, and contributions to society. Unfortunately, these days with the advent of the internet and social networking…people seem to define themselves by likes, shares and followers. At the end of the day, no one remembers how many followers you have, how many likes your random posts got, but what you brought to the table. I see people all over the internet bragging about this or that, while tearing others down, because of assumptions they make. I look at it this way. If you work hard, stay humble and concentrate on perfecting your craft…whatever that may be, others will go around bragging for you.
