Have You Ever Been In Love?
Have you ever been in love? Perhaps, you would say you haven’t been in a relationship or haven't felt the butterflies in your stomach while watching someone eat, play a sport, or eat their favorite snack during recess or whatsoever. But, being in love is not limited to feeling this way.
Being in love means different things. Being in love is when you smell the familiar aroma that attracts you to move out of your bed to take the first sip of coffee. Being in love is when you rub your eyes to remove the morning glory as you open your eyes first thing in the morning. Being in love is feeling the productivity to cross out activities written on your to-do list placed on the wall. Being in love is getting a good morning kiss from your dog who woke you up in the morning.
Being in love is waking up to feel the cool breeze of five o'clock in the morning. Being in love is having the confidence to wear the clothes you have doubted to wear the first day you bought them. Being in love is watering the plants you bought online first thing as you talk to them with such happiness because you believe that they have feelings too. Being in love is binge-watching your favorite Netflix series in a cozy living room.
Being in love is sharing a meme that made you laugh for straight two hours on your social media feed. Being in love is indulging yourself with posters and merchandise of your bias in a group or the group itself. Being in love is dancing to the beat of the shuffled songs on your Spotify playlist until you feel the tiredness from doing so.
Being in love is getting the joke at midnight by a friend and messaging them that you have got what they meant. Being in love is knowing how to solve mathematical equations that you didn’t quite understand. Being in love is having a perfect score on a quiz or exams you stayed up late for. Being in love is answering the correct answer on a surprise recitation your teacher unexpectedly did.
You see, being in love is not always about romance and intimacy portrayed in a movie and novels by various well-known and excellent authors. Being in love is finding enjoyment in everything you do.

for the draft thing: when i start writing novels i always have a lot of beginning, a fair amount of backstory, a solid ending, and maybe one or two key events in between, but nothing in the middle. i'm never sure how to approach this and it usually kills a lot of my projects :/ not sure if this is a question you can answer easily but if there's any tips i'd love to hear it!
