What theories do you have about the ending of Homestuck? Or which ones do you like/would like to believe?

Honestly? I just like to think that it’s a story.

Just one big old story, and they literally escaped the narrative. That’s my favourite theory for sure. It’s a big old fuck you to everything, showing they’ve taken control of their own lives, and even Hussie is no longer the writer (killed off by Lord English).

How do you feel about the "Vriscourse"?

fuckin love it. It’s fantastic.

I’m sure Vriska would just laugh at the fact people are fighting over whether or not they should like her or whether or not she’s a bad person. Which she is. While she also isn’t.

after realizing the hiveswap fandom collectively hates Dammek I’m making a point out of loving him now.

I played act 1 and was like, wow, Dammek is awful. Do not like this guy one bit.

wow. Amazing. It’s almost like I’m growing interested in Dammek as a character because I can see that there is great potential for redemption and for change. Perhaps I recognize that although he appears as though he is a bad person, he is also very complex. I can also see that perhaps the moirallegiance he has with Xefros is toxic, but it only means that both him and Xefros through their separation and now interaction with very different people will grow and perhaps become better people.

Dammek is an asshole. Sure. That’s what we know so far. That’s fine. For now I’m going to remain hopeful he’ll change. Call me an optimist! :)

Also the fact everyone hates him made me think about him a lot more and realize that maybe there’s reasons I shouldn’t jump on the hate bandwagon. He’s clearly a very complex and interesting character, and now that he’s away from Xefros and unable to cause him harm, I think things are going to change.

A lot.

It’s rare I’ll add onto a post but? I think you should PLAY AS HIS CHARACTER first and then make your judgements, we’ve only seen him like 5 times and heard about him from ONE person. I think now he’s separate from Xefros, he’s going to change, or at least the act will explain WHY he’s so harsh. It’s only act 1.

Was I really that bad? I tried to phrase things like a joke today, I hope I didn’t seriously hurt anyone? All I did was say “Xefros is straight” I didn’t even provide any backup for my points or try to defend myself. I just wanted to see what would happen. I most likely will not be starting discourse like this again, as amusing as the homestuck fandom is. Instead I’ll simply peruse the main tag and find it everywhere. Because It is. Everywhere. I make myself like it because if I didn’t I wouldn’t be able to stand this fandom for a second, all the arguing is so pointless and stupid and the fact that people are so ready and angry as they reply and fight against things that… really don’t matter, it’s ridiculous. Laughable even. So that’s why I decided for ONE day, I’d participate in discourse. (And stupid discourse at that, I really didn’t try, guys. Like at all.) Guess I’ll stop playing hiveswap then, damn. Because the moment I actually make myself hate the discourse, I’ll realize how angry and actually awful parts of this fandom really are.
