I really wasn't sure if I should post this or not. I decided to because it will make some people uncomfortable and it might hit somebody like a ton of bricks. At least that's how it felt for me. What I love about books is that sometimes you read a deep #truth that you have always felt in your heart but could never express it in words. Ayn Rand did that for me here. I always wondered why I couldn't find pleasure in one night stands with "fast women" or why my friends will think a woman is ugly while I can't take my eyes off of her. I knew I was more attracted to morality than beauty, but I never knew why. This page personifies my subconscious feelings perfectly. I certainly think that the gender roles can be switched here as well. For example, you can tell a woman's sense of value by the man she sleeps with. If you find this passage out of context or it doesnt hit you then I highly suggest you read Atlas Shrugged.
