Hello! And welcome to the whump gifmaking challenge! I'm your host @aceofwhump and I'm excited to bring another year of a whump challenge specifically created with gifmakers and visual artists in mind.
The challenge begins in August!
Rules:
All gifs posted must be made by you. Do not just post gifs using the gif keyboard and claim them as yours and do not repost other peopleās gifs. No AI-generated content please.
Various mediums are welcome! So long as the visual art aspect is the focus you can make whatever you want. Yes this is primarily a gifmaking challenge so everything is geared towards that but any visual art is welcome. If you draw, make moodboards, edits, videos, etc youāre welcome to participate!
You can use the prompts however you like. There is no wrong way to use a prompt. Feel free to interpret them however you wish. If you think it counts as whump? It's whump! Make it! Angst, comfort, emotional whump, small things, big things, it all counts so no need to over think it.
Tag all potential triggers (things like emeto, gore, nsfw, blood, eye whump, rape/noncon, etc.) When in doubt, tag it.

i always go back and forth between wanting to gate-keep my interactions or yap about them for 7-10 business days. clearly, i've decided to yap.

needed this hug more than i realized, i guess. really couldn't tell you what happened here, guys. (i honestly never black out but i got really excited and elevated before this.) all i remember is i was wearing that feather necklace and then jared pulled his out of his shirt and we were hugging. words were exchanged but they've gone poof from my brain. but fave photo op of all time, i think ?? i owe chris schmelke my life. anyways.
we were all hugging and jared was just going, "tighter! tighter!" at us lmao
i adore ruth <3 she is the coolest and the sweetest every time. literally mother. i can't remember if it was during this or in the solo i had with him after this but, jared kept touching my necklace. he was really touched that i was wearing it.
told him to pick š would it be a successful con if i wasn't getting teased for being short? no, i really don't think so. not knowing what was happening after this bc he just went dead weight with his leg on me while everyone was yelling, "backdrop! backdrop!" and trying to move around with my glasses off was the most chaotic minute of the entire con š¤£ i was like, "you motherfucker," to him and he was like, "what?! i love you, i love you."
